Breaking
Wayne Williams did....
BTW, They haven't said Black male. They said a heavyset male dressed in all black.
Maybe a frustrated ninja?
"It was a policeman, and he went to help him."
Just as with misreporting of weapons by those unfamiliar, this may be a uniformed mall guard.
But if it's police...I'm sticking with Jewelry store robbery.
You discount the reporting that one black male is in custody and the mall and surrounding is in lockdown?
What a hero to go help the cop!
Maybe not. But consider the scenario, gunmen apparently randomly shooting people at a mall. What would the benefit be to gangstas to shoot up the mall? None. They would suffer greatly for no benefit. Drug dealers? Hardly. What result could come other than a harsh crackdown on them? Robbers? They didn't even enter the stores.
Also consider that the likely survivability of such a mall shooting is very low for the shooters, ie a suicide mission. If anyone has any reasonable theory as to why people would do such a thing other than Islam, let's hear it.
Last time I tried to suggest that not every criminal event in the U.S. is related to Islamofacist terrorists from abroad, I was pilloried for weeks.
"They said a heavyset male dressed in all black."
"Maybe a frustrated ninja?"
Stop it...I hate laughing when I'm trying to be serious.
Unless you're a trained LE official and with direction I feel that would just create a more unsafe situation.
"Next report will reveal that all three of the shooters were cigarette smokers, and they drove to the mall in an SUV."
AND according to the gal that works at the GAP in the mall, she said one of the gunmen was.....GASP....overweight! I'm not sure the call was for real.....she sounded mighty perky for someone hiding from gunmen in a mall.
Fox News website:
KINGSTON, N.Y. At least two gunmen opened fire Sunday inside a mall in upstate New York, authorities said.
The gunmen began shooting inside the Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston, about 52 miles south of Albany. One gunman was taken into police custody.
Mayor James Sottile said at least one person was hurt and taken by helicopter to a hospital.
Authorities restricted access to the mall, and several helicopters and police teams surrounded the area.
I'm just waiting for things to shake out and see where the story goes at this point.
They got one shooter...You know their beating the shit out of him to get him to give up his comrades. I was an LA cop for 22 years. This kid would be very near death if he's not talking! It ain't pretty but that's the wy it's got to be sometimes.
Thugs, thugs, thugs,On both sides of the badge, yes?
I worked my way through college in the mid 1960s as a cop and saw some horrible things. Most of them were pretty decent, but there were quite a few sadistic bastards who would brag about "thumping" someone from time to time. (This was in Tulsa)...
Mall Ninja?
Mental Illness?
There have been a variety of mass close range shootings in public places in the US (Remember that McDonald's) and none of them have had anything to do with Islam.
Ditto
Wow, and I just recently finished that Clancy novel where the terrorists shoot up innocents in a shopping mall(s).
Why would a robber randomly start shooting upon entry? I don't think that makes sense. Admittedly, we're dealing with first reports, but robbers want the loot first and foremost, not a bloodbath.
It does seem like sometimes the most ignorant and foolish scream and spam the loudest on this site...
Your Taurus 80 will do fine, though a reload or two is advisable, and kevlar undies are helpful. Shoot any goblins with an AutoWeapon from behind, with a headshot if possible; repeat as necessary. Use such cover and concealment as is available, and movement if that's an option. Beware doughnut munchers upset with you for messing with their monopoly franchise, and for off-duty cops pulling crimes.
