I hope that was just an ankle holster backup gun.
What's wrong with a revolver? If I ever manage to get a CCW permit, I plan on carrying my S&W 625-5 (with a combat action job by Ron Power!). I'm big enough to conceal an N-Frame under a jacket, and I can toss in a full moon clip of 200gr "Flying Ashtrays" about as fast as changing a magazine in a semi-auto.

To each his own. I carry a Glock 30 with a stock 10-round magazine of .45ACP, and a spare 13-round mag from a Glock 21 that I bought the day after the sunset.
Look at the bright side, his seeing eye dog didn't bite anyone.
"I was raised in Kansas City and I just love "Whiskey-Tango"/Redneck humor"
There's nothing "Redneck" about Kansas City.
I am going to shoot my TV if those blithering idiots don't STFU about the Michael Jackson case.
Oh, FNC ticks me off quite often. Especially with their obsession with tabloid/court cases. And how well I remember Rita getting the SCOTUS news wrong.
But they are more balanced than the rest of them, and not as wrong as most of them.
My favorite local ad was for 2,019 piglets....The caller had wanted the ad to read 2 sows and 19 piglets.....Really happened!
Revolver should be Glock 21
Then you've never been to Raytown, Independence, or Lee's Summit! lol. Heck, when I bought my house in Lee's Summit, you could buy guns, ammunition, and reloading supplies at a drug store in downtown LS on 3rd street! And you could buy a hunting license and shotgun shells at the movie rental counter at the Hy Vee!

Thanks for the ping!
This is a Taurus Tracker...
Amazing how you can still buy reloading supplies for .45 ACP...
And Smith & Wesson has 5 whole web pages of handguns chambered for .45 ACP right here, just like this one...
Maybe you should let the Springfield Armory Custom shop know that there's no more ammo for Rob Leatham to use... After all, "His" custom gun, as sold by SA for about $3000, must not be selling... After all, you can't get ammo for it!
Or at least let John Nowlin know, since he stamped that barrel with .45 ACP... I guess he doesn't know anything about guns, or the M-1911 style, huh?
Must be hard getting ammo for them, huh?
Wow! And there even seems to be some modern performance data for such an ancient cartridge here too,
nearly 50 years after they stopped making the cartridge! It must have a pretty good shelf life!

I can't read a whole thread, is there a recap?
Recap I have is whole event was one person with a handgun who is in the pokey at this hour. All the rest was just shit'n go blind prime time from the presstitutes !
No I didn't read this thread either.....:o)
Here's an updated recap. One gunman, 24, white (from my town of Saugerties). I have a last name, but authorities haven't released it yet. I don't know the individual, but another local said the fellow was possibly suicidal earlier in the day. Perhaps a "death by cop" scenario, but still speculation. Two were shot, 2 more had bullet holes in their clothing, and maybe a few minor injuries from broken glass and chaos. The worst hit young man is a National Guardsman, and he was listed in critical condition and may lose his leg. The NYS investigator said gun was "not exactly an AK-47", whatever that means. He said it's a legal weapon to own in NYS, and is a semi-automatic. Still being mum, but shooter did progress into middle of the mall where he was apprehended, and others say perhaps the echo and ricocheting of bullets caused folks to think there were more than one shooter.
"But we haven't yet determined if there's a Wal-Mart near this mall.
"
It's all Bush's fault!
Me too; late to the thread; shots fired, a busy 45 auto pic, can't we just all get along, diversity! LOL
Here's another news flash for the racism police: White guys can't jump! Except from airplanes of course. Black guys aren't crazy enought to jump from perfectly good aircraft.
