He's in NM. In that state the CC law passed in 2001 has been challenged by the liberals: so he has no means of personally protecting himself.

Like just about everything else in NM, the State Police web page is "dated" (ie. outdated). The NM legislature revamped the concealed carry law in 2003 and concealed carry licenses have been issued beginning in January 2004. I might be mistaken, but here in Texas, without a conceal-carry Permit, a person MUST Carry his weapon out in the open - or be in violation of the law.

If I have a conceal carry license, I must Carry, and I must Conceal. If not, my legal firearm could be strapped to my hip as far as Law Enforcement in concerned.

If islamofacists start up around here - that is exactly where I'm wearing my weapon of choice. I'd like them to see it coming.
