NEW YORK, February 4, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Last week pro-lifers reacted with disdain when Hillary Clinton belatedly attempted to modify, at least in the public eye, her militant support for abortion. She failed to impress with her sincerity when she called abortion a tragic choice for women and suggested abortifacient contraceptives as a solution. Exit polls showing voter interest in moral issues has shaken Democrat confidence in their leftist social agenda.
This week, former presidential candidate John Kerry, still calling himself a Catholic, followed the new Democratic Party policy in attempting to use pro-life language to continue pushing their agenda of unrestricted abortion. Kerry claims that the Democrats have talked about this for a long period of time.
Kerrys remarks came in an interview on NBCs Meet the Press. The discussion is not about being pro-abortion. The discussion is about how you truly value life. Valuing life is also valuing choice. Valuing life is the exception for the life of a mother or rape or incest, he said.
Can anyone make out what he is trying to say? said Samantha Singson a spokesperson for Canadas Campaign Life Coalition. These people are just proving with every word that they dont have even the concept of a moral framework. They cannot even convincingly pretend to be moral people. I think they should stop trying before they embarrass themselves further, she said.
Singson said the incident reminded her of a quote from the famed Star Trek character Mr. Spock who said, "a civilized man can pretend to be a barbarian, but no barbarian can pretend to be a civilized man.
Isn't it ironic that the New Nazi party in the USA [the democrats] is for life as long as it isn't human life?
Lest we all forget which administration attacked with the military [tanks and CS nerve gas banned for use in war] and then MURDERED innocent men women and children by incinerating them at Waco in order to "save" them when nobody was being held hostage or needed "saving" except of course from the leftwing fascist jackboots. Ditto for Ruby Ridge ID.
Yeah..the Klintons are for life alright.../sarc
p.s. Next time something like this happens, I'll be standing in front of one of those tanks taking my stand..and God forgive me for not doing so the first time around. Where will you folks be?
Well, I would have to see the bill in question, and, of course, there's no point in voting for a bill that's immediately going to be overturned by our fine court system. My first priority is the health and safety of the mother, so of course, I'd have to ensure that there were sufficient protections for the mother and family members. As you know, I have long been concerned with women's health issues, and Delta has a history of service to the college, and the community at large. The question is not, did we take a few liberties with our female party guests. We did.
They look like fools everytime they open their mouths on issues of morality. As someone quoted in the article said, it's so foreign to them that they can't even lie convincingly.

"a civilized man can pretend to be a barbarian, but no barbarian can pretend to be a civilized man."
But Kerry's googly gook remark is undecipherable, LOL!
The discussion is not about being pro-abortion. The discussion is about how you truly value life. Valuing life is also valuing choice. Valuing life is the exception for the life of a mother or rape or incest,
According to him, some lives are more valuable than others. So it's OK to terminate lives we consider less valuable.
What does this say about Senator Kerry?
Another Flip Flop?
Pro-Life bump.
Try harder.
LOL -things take time to investigate and declare. This process is by only prescribed judicial procedure carried out by the competent authority. Do some research so that you may appear to know of what you assert.
Try to have some perspective -e.g. Kerry is not as heretical or objectively defiant as Luther was and the process to excommunicate Luther took some time and did not happen until after an official investigation was made and several efforts were made for his redemption...
The purpose of excommunication is not punishment -[it] is done in charity as a fraternal correction in hope of redemption... Kerry may or may not get excommunicated... Regardless, Kerry's status says nothing regarding the moral authority of the Church...
Now -explain how protestants deal with thse type situations?
