The folks who think black helicopters are being used to spy on American citizens; the same folks who believe the U.S. government has built concentration camps to imprison its own citizenry; the same folks who believe the zip code implementation was a prelude to reapportioning the United States into 10 administrative regions; the same folks who believe adding flouride to the water supply is a communist plot to poison Americans.
My father (God rest his soul) was such a person, so I grew up hearing all about this stuff.

Thank God I don't belong to that crowd of kooks. I never knew that....thanks. I'll have to remember it.
Would card carrying members of the flat-earth society be included with them?

There are people here who are hired "spinners" whose purpose is to redirect opinion away from the consideration of serious threats posed by groups who want to stay very invisible. If you meet them in person, they'll be the ones with boot polish on their tongues.

I thought I was gonna read an article....it was to buy a book.
Can you tell us what she said?

it was to buy a book.Yes. That is the Amazon.com page for her book on the UN.
Can you tell us what she said?
My own thoughts are that this woman has certainly done her homework. The editorial reviews, customer reviews and product description on the Amazon page are accurate.
If you are able to check out this book from your local library or obtain it through interlibrary loan it will be an informative read.
She has been researching and writing on global finance and the UN for over ten years. Many of her articles can be read here at her web site.

Thanks, I'll jump to her web site.

Of course, you are the only one to bring up these topics on this thread. No one else has said anything about this stuff.
To: Freebird Forever
She sounds like a very interesting lady.

Here's a picture for you.
Don't believe in sustainable development? You don't have to because your government will do it for you.
To: hedgetrimmer
I have to commend you on your hard work getting this information all together and laying it out to be seen. Thank you.

Yes they do by our voluntary signing of the treaty we forfiet the protections of the Constitution! No and no again!
When we sign a treaty, every aspect of the treaty must be voted into law and every aspect of the treaty that is voted into law must be Constitutional.
The liberals really have you convinced, don't they.
To: B4Ranch
Where do you think gun control comes from? Read the UN Charter before you continue. Our congress passed our gun control laws and our presidents signed the gun control laws.
We voted for the people who passed the laws.

If anything crazy happens, the Freepers will have enough firepower and will to secure one part of America. All I can say is that I'm not too worried with Bush around.Yep. The 2nd Amendment was created just for this sort of event.

I don't believe that aliens built the pyramids.
That doesn't mean I don't believe there are pyramids.

Given that the world court is nothing more than a kangaroo court for turning Americans into political prisoners of the EU, I am glad that Prersident Bush refuses to allow our nation into that.

hedgetrimmer post #224:I believe in the supremacy of the US Constitution. However there are people in power who put treaty obligations over their duty to protect the Constitution and individual rights. hedgetrimmer post #235: Yes it dissovles our soveiegnty when our congress agrees to sign treaties like this. If you do something that violates one of these treaties, you can be held liable by international organizations. Is that not weakening our sovereignty?
Displayed above are two of your posts. They contradict each other. In one post you identify a potential danger. In the other post you fall off the face of flat earth...

I believe that the second amendment was one of the best that guarantees we Americans can still control our destiny's.
A socialist government wants an unarmed populace....easier to control.
