I wonder if the people of NV are embarrassed about the dismal performance of their popular Sen. Harry Reid in his Democrat "response" to the State of the Union. It was really pitiful. The GOP of NV should be ashamed for giving that rascal a free pass in 2004.We dumped Foley in 1994. We dumped Daschle in 2004. And we can dump Reid when he comes up for re-election.
This has to be the best SOTU Bush has given.
And this is for the person who said that Brit looked underwhelmed. Brit ALWAYS looks underwhelmed. That's one of the many things I love about him.

I think you are right that it was Pres. Reagan who first introduced guests in the gallery. I don't think the emotional embrace between the Marine's Mom and the Iraqi woman was planned. It looked wonderfully spontaneous to me. So very, very powerful too.

I've never got misty for SOU address, but the the dog tag thing really busted me up.
Everyone watching that should be proud; every Mother wacthing that should be prouder; Every Marine Mom watching that should be especially proud; Every Marine watching should be proudest.
God Bless the Marine Corps. and the rest of the people who work hard to keep us safe and kill the bad guys.

This was one of THE, if not THE best SoTU addresses EVER! I totally agree! I think the last "best addresses" was in Jan. 2002 (after the 9/11/01 attacks).

Can someone please translate what these 2 idiots are saying? I am listening, and either they are blabbering or I am having comprehension problems! 2 of the most useless idiots on the planet! It was just Blah, Blah, Blah to me to. This was really pathetic even for a Democrat speech, I'm sure even to hard core Rats it was also blah, blah, blah.
I think by morning no one will remember anything they said, If they haven't forgot it already

You ARE the ugly face of conservatism.

Brit's tripping all over himself trying to explain why the opposition response was so awful ;-) It was an awful response .. like as though Harry and Nancy didn't listen to one word the President said
