We have two of the most powerful men in the nation. President Bush and Jeb Bush. No one can tell me that they do not have the power and moral obligation to stop a crime in our state and nation that is in the national and global spotlight in which a person (again in the national spotlight) is about to be subjected to attempted murder via starvation/dehydration to which not even an animal would be subjected or allowed to be subjected to. I say it is a crock of crap and they need to fight this terrorism now!!!

It's scary that they can turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to Terri. I keep hoping that Jeb will come charging in on his white horse at the last minute. It makes you wonder what they really believe.

I lost all my respect for Alan Keyes because of Terri. If he really believed in stopping morally corrupt laws, he would be standing next to Randall Terry.

They don't: Bush II has no authority at all over such state matters as euthanasia or capital punishment for that matter. Governor Bush has a weak constitutional office: the real power in this case is with the civil circuit judge. Terri picked the world's worst husband and worst judge too, and the doors are rapidly closing on her.

I'm with you. Each of them are head of the executive branch, and they each in turn supposedly swore an oath to execute the laws of the nation and the state of Florida. Both federal and state laws are being broken. The President is taxing Americans and sending them into war to bring Islamic freedom abroad:

'THE PRESIDENT: Colonel now as far as I'm concerned. (Laughter and applause). Thank you for your service. Thank you for helping make America more secure.

We've got tough work there because, you see, there are terrorists there who would rather kill innocent people than allow for the advance of freedom. That's what your're seeing going on. These people hate freedom, and we love freedom. And that's where the clash occurs. See, we don't think freedom is America's gift to the world. We know that freedom is the Almighty's gift to every man and woman in this world. That's what we know. (Applause.)

And Mackham will tell you there's a lot of brave people there that want to be free, but they've been tortured and terrorized and traumatized by a tyrant. And it's going to take a while for them to understand what freedom is all about. We will stay the course in Iraq. We're not going to be intimidated by thugs or assassins. We're not going to cut and run from the people who long from freedom. Because, you know what? We understand a free Iraq is an historic opportunity to help change the world to be more peaceful. That's what we understand in this country.

I want to appreciate your service. For those of you who've got relatives in the Armed Forces, email them and tell them the Commander-in-Chief is incredibly proud of the sacrifice and service to our country. (Applause.)

Laura reminded mme that one time on the TV screens in the summer of 2000 we saw, "March to War." It is hard to have economic vitality when you're marching to war. That's a negative thought. It's about as negative a thought as you can think about. And so one of the hurdles we had to overcome besides recession, attack, corporate scandal, was the fact that I made the decision to defend us. We marched to war. It was a challenge we had to overcome.....'

Excerpt from article entitled "President Announces New Education Initiatives for Stronger Workforce" whitehouse.gov 2004

Freedom begins at home, Mr. President. Free Terri!
