More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
I sent both local and national tv stations video links of Terri laughing at a joke told by her dad, and spent a lot of time doing it. Maybe it's better to call a talk show and write letters to editors.

Terri must have a good constitution if she survived two starvation attempts and untreated infections. She has the potential for living a normal life span or more, if she is taken care of. Hospice is not the place for her.
Thankfully Tutstar gave me the link to the Greer Campaign contribution list last night. So I have that saved in Excel. I will cross reference them ot this Board member list. Although they have the Board Memeber list on their website, there are no e-mail address for anybody. I bet I spent 8 hours a few months ago or was it even last month (?) hunting up e-mail address for them. Getting the e-mail addresses was hard I only got around 40% and some of those wrote and said that they are no longer on the board.

One of the many things frightening about this case is that we can have laws to protect us but judges can simply ignore them with no consequences.

Liberals say that there is no "evidence" that the popular Schiavo has done any of these things. Of course, they have their heads in that FL sand too.

Actually, the tabloids have shunned the Terri fiasco. Tabloids concentrate on "beautiful people," and perhaps the editors find neither Terri, Michael, nor Jodi sufficient "beautiful" for their readers. It could also be that publishers of such tabloids are also committed to euthanasia.

Absolutely, people do not understand how judges can perform in a most autocratic fashion without being subject to the "checks and balances" envisioned by the Founding Fathers. What would George Washington say about George W. "Haman" Greer? Would George W. "Haman" Greer have advised Martha Washington to snuff out the life of her husband (a "useless eater") when he first became ill from the pneumonia that killed him in 1799?

So, years ago there was a NE senator named Carl Curtis (or was it his equally esteemed colleague Roman Hruska?) who quipped that even "average" people need to be represented on the Supreme Court. I guess we have gone from representing the "average" to the "sadistic" in the America of 2005.
What happens to Terri has significance to all of us, conservatives and liberals:
*We can be slowly and painfully dehydrated to death (although this manner of death is prohibited to the worst of criminals) if we become disabled.
*A person who hates us, publicly abuses us, and has financial interest in our death can be appointed our guardian.
*Authorities will refuse to investigate a possible attempt to kill us.
*Money obtained for our rehabilitation through lawsuits can be used for other people. We can be denied rehabilitation even if we can afford to pay for it.
*There is no one to protect us, at least in certain parts of the country, and many people will cheer for our tormentors.
Exactly. It seems a large majority of Democrats and a significant minority of Republicans favor her starvation and dehydration. Some "Republicans" just note that George W. "Haman" Greer wears an "R" label and therefore assume that he is doing "the right thing"!

Whoops, sorry - I see you found them already.
Several questions are bothering me and maybe you could investigate, Scoop.
1. The insurance agency that awarded money for Terri's rehabilitation is now out of business and thus unable to sue for recovery. How convenient for Michael!
2. Is there any connection between the insurance agency that awarded Terri's rehabilitation money and the Jerger-Centezone Agency, which is located in Michael's house and of which Michael is listed as a director? One of the giant threads from late 2003 had a wealth of info on this agency. I seem to remember that pc93 and maybe some others dug up information from public records and posted it. I saved to my hard drive a thread from Dec. 4, 2003, but I'm pretty sure it's not the one because there were only 900+ posts (those of you I pinged posted to that one and maybe you can remember the date of the other one). The thread I'm thinking about had between 3-5K posts. floriduh, do you remember the one? Why were/are Jodi and Michael involved in insurance? I don't believe it's a coincidence!
3. Michael says he doesn't have a life insurance policy on Terri. Maybe he's telling the truth about that one, and someone else in his little circle is the one who actually holds the policy? (Jodi's brother, or maybe her mother, who is now deceased?)
4. This whole case is so strange that the only logical explanation I can come up with is that this has been a conspiracy against Terri from the beginning (i.e., before they were married). The fact that law enforcement did not investigate her injuries from the beginning, the cooperation between hospitals, hospice, the judge (Greer), the attorney (Felos), Jerger-Centezone Insurance agency (where do they fit in?), the media, the political corruption, all of this leads me to believe that it is a hugely orchestrated plan that is being thwarted, and that's one reason they are all so desperate. What if Michael picked Terri out because she seemed vulnerable and he thought her parents were too "nice" to fight him and she would be an easy target?
5. How long have Michael and Jodi known each other, anyway? Could they have met before Michael and Terri got married? I think it would be very interesting to find out that little factoid, especially in light of his involvement in the Jerger-Centezone Insurance Agency.
Thank you for your consideration of my questions. It will be interesting to see what you come up with. There is such a huge amount of information here on FR, I know that if we all put our heads together, and someone will report it in a concise form, we can see that justice is done for Terri.
