The additional contingent will join 300 servicemen from Georgia who have been deployed in Iraq since last November, a representative of the Georgian Defense Ministry told Tass.

Great news! Thanks for posting and thanks for keeping us informed about your part of the world. Your beloved Poland has earned the respect of millions of my countrymen . . . and it sounds like Georgia will soon join the list as well.

I honestly never knew Georgia was in Iraq. The MSM only reports when countries withdraw.

That's great. One of our neighbors here in Vermont comes from Georgia. They are good people, with an old civilization.

One of my sons is flying over to Georgia in a few days, hoping to learn the language, find work, stay there for a year or two, and see a bit of the world.

Three of my other children are heading out for Ladakh for four months of study abroad, so it's going to be quiet around here for a while.

Bravo, Georgia, allies in the fight for freedom.

Meanwhile, we continue to watch for any sign of French troops in Iraq. . . .

Or German. . . .

Or Russian. . . .
