The dem talking head talking point.......unquantifiable......used by jennings and by williams.
Even heard a comment that we can't comment on the turnout numbers because after all we all know about exit poll numbers.
The left is bitterly disappointed at this UNQUALIFIED SUCCESS.

WAY TO GO IRAQIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Course the US has 110% turnout in some democrat districts.
But in my precinct we usually run about 10-20% turnout. And no one is even shooting at them. Sad isn't it?

Is the press aware that 70% is higher than the percentage of registered voters who participated in the 2004 United States Presidential election?

I too am stunned. I was feeling rather good about electtions but then Friday heard Fox war reporter Steve Harrigan. I consider him very reliable. His opinion was that Sunday would be a "bloodbath". He said elections would be a complete failure and many people would die.
Oh well, I shouldn't be surprised that another reporter turns out to be wrong.

72 percent?
It sure is nice that the number 72 will now mean something in the Arab world other than...you know...

They are just pissed because Bush will come out as the clear victor in this along with the fact that the truth has come to light...Iraqi people want their freedom and independence. Also, the U.S. needs to adopt the ink policy if you ask me although methinks that would supress the voting numbers even further because Dem's won't be able to use fraud like they love doing in places like PA,Wisc, and OH.

I remember the Sunday that Time and Newsweek covers both said
Quagmire while on TV, Special Forces and Afghan Cavalry were driving the Taliban before them.
Once again, the press and the DemonRat Party have been caught hoping for and expecting disaster.
Once again, they lose.

Good for the Iraqi citizens, not letting the terrorists scare them away from freedom. They should be proud of themselves.

"I have to say, it's going a lot better than I thought it would," Rod Nordland, Newsweek's Baghdad bureau chief, said Sunday as the numbers came in." Nothing new here is there? The dimwits at Newsweek get things wrong in the U.S., so why should they get things right elsewhere?

This is a repeat of last November's election in the US:
MSM gets a hard-on from bogus exit polling and thinks Kerry's going to win, suffers huge disappointment when Bush clinches clear victory (both popular vote AND electoral college).
MSM gets a hard-on from bogus threats and thinks terrorists will turn the election into a bloody quagmire, suffers huge disappointment when Iraqi voter turn out is larger than that in the US.
