MSNBC reporter saying the insurgents' strategy of intimidation is working. Ugh! And of course, it's not working, much to MSNBC's dismay.
People are voting and the numbers at the polling places are growing.
The leftist media sucks.

I can't believe the difference in the news coverage. I switched from Geraldo "this is a great day" Rivera to the MSNBC reporter saying the insurgents' strategy of intimidation is working. Ugh!CNN reporting that Mosul streets were dead, hardly anyone going out to vote yet. The same in Ramadi, CNN reporting that the American soldiers are calling out to the people of Ramadi trying to get them to come out to vote.

Geraldo is doing ok. I woke up to him and I had to get acclimated. David Lee Miller on showing voting in Mosul.

no kidding.....I'm optimistic too but still pragmatic. I won't get sucked in too far but some like you say seem so pessimistic and defeatist that any good news does not fit into their social mores or something.....

Geraldo: "the terrorists can go to hell" I heard that! Geraldo is great tonight :)

Yep, I never thought I'd be agreeing with Geraldo though. L Amen to that thought. I still haven't begun to forgive him for being such a Clinton stooge, but I can see how 911 could change a person's worldview.
I do give him credit for bravery, and he has certainly been supportive of our troops at every opportunity. Have you noticed how he always gives one of them a chance to say his name on the tube a get a short message home?

Ailes is a genius. Let the Left be themselves, the people will reject them every time.

I sometimes wonder if FNC staff reports on us as close as we report on them.

"it is the women who will turn out the vote....they are the real power force behind the scene..now they will have the chance to exercise this power..."
the vote offsets the gun, it is the great equalizer for the women against violence.
To: Allegra
People in the Sunni Triangle hotbeds of Ramadi and Samarra are boycotting the election... whether out of sympathy with the terrorist insurgents or fear its hard to say. But its their loss if they don't make the voice heard.

CNN reporting that Mosul streets were dead, hardly anyone going out to vote yet. Fox News just reported the exact opposite. David Lee Miller from Mosul said that his location has been busy and voting traffic is picking up.

Seventy-year-old Iraqi exile Mehsin Imgoter holds his voting ballot up and begins to weep before putting it in the voting box in the Detroit suburb of Southgate, Michigan on January 28, 2005. Almost 30 percent of registered Iraqi exiles voted on the first day of absentee balloting in Iraq (news - web sites)'s first postwar election, organizers said on Saturday. A total of 84,429 Iraqis abroad, or 29.8 percent of the 280,303 who registered, voted on Friday. Those who registered number only a quarter of expatriates entitled to vote. (Rebecca Cook/Reuters)
