The first family attended church this morning. Afterwards, the President headed to Camp David where he was to meet with his advisors to work on his State of the Union Address.

I love chocolate. I love cats. My real nickname is similar to my nickname (or part of it), and I have a pack of Kitkats right next to my computer and I'm trying to resist them.
When I was young my dad caught a black pigeon in the street a racer that was exhausted we did not report it because normally if you do the owners ring their necks when they are returned. So we kept it.

I sure hope they become big...hopefully. There is so much that people are discovering all the time. It is very interesting subject matter. Although I have no idea who would be good to invest in. It is weird because most breakthroughs in technology occur on accident when you least expect them. Someone tries to prove something is true and stumbles onto the wave of the future. "Nano" just means itty bitty. Things on the order of 10^-9 meters. (thats .000000001 meters) For example copper atoms are about 0.128 nm. So we are really getting down there in the size of devices...enough technical mumbo jumbo from me though. LOL

Fox News had been considered for awhile. The government-run stations up here did not want the pro-America news to reach us. We aren't allowed to have a different view from our liberal keepers in Ottawa.
It was actually approved long after they approved Al-Jazeera, but before the president's visit. It could have been partly due to the 387,922,450 emails I sent the CRTC, but I'm not sure.

Actually I really hope to take a religion class. It shouldn't be too hard. It covers various religions in the states. (all i have to do is get into it next fall, there are only something like 3- 30 student class sections)

I got to watch the service on a big screen, snugs, and I think the VP did enjoy it immensely, in his own quiet way. It's sometimes a little hard to tell with him, although it certainly wasn't on Inauguration Day! You could tell he loved every minute of that. As you say, we can hope so. He richly deserves his enjoyment after what he has been through from his enemies. And in fact, what he has ahead of him.
I enjoy watching the VP and President interact. It's heartwarming to see the immense and genuine gratitude and respect that is so evident between these two fine men and leaders. I love that picture of the handshake between the two during the Inaugural. Neither smiled or said anything, but somehow you could see the true emotion in that handshake. I suspect the relationship between them has deepened through the trials of that first administration.
Will do homemom. With running our business while we are gone, we have a requirement for high speed internet which means I'll be able to check in fairly regularly.

I know all that about bats, but they still freak me out to the point of panic if I have to be in an enclosed space with them. There is a brand new exhibit at the zoo called Kingdom of the Night and when I went I thought perhaps going thru that would cure me . . . it took me less than 15 seconds to step inside . . . and go directly out the other side!
On a spring or summer day I can watch them swooping around at sunset and it doesn't bother me too much . . .
Wendy's and Little Caesar's were the fare of choice a few years ago when I was in school. The BK was way down by the highway and you didn't dare move your car for fear of losing your space!
I don't mind the tech mumbo-jumbo, I grew up in a lab. When I was about 5, dad had just developed his first batch of a new oral rehydration product which he made me hold onto while he was adjusting a scale. I dropped the beaker. I thought he would disown me.
I've heard Nanotech was the $$ wave of the future. I'm considering some investing.
