Eagles & Steelers.

Eagles beat Atlanta 24-20
Steeler over New England by exactly the same score!

Is the Atlanta Philly game an outdoor game and what are weather conditions for game time?

If the Falcons and Steelers both win sportswriters will spend 2 weeks complaining that the two best teams aren't in the Superbowl.

For once, Ed Rendell said something that I agree with: If the Steelers and the Iggles face each other in the Superbowl, the game should be played in State College, PA.

I have no idea who will win, but I cherish Championship Sunday more than the Super Bowl.

Atlanta and Pit are my picks. What a great SuperBowl that would be.

"Enviro-wacko picks" has it as Stillers and Falcoons.

Sounds as good as any.

IMO, most Conference Championships are the best part of the year. And I must take it all in on the radio. I like to think the best way to take in a game is on the radio. You get a much better feel for the progress/regress of the teams. At least that's what I'll keep telling myself.

Can't wait to hear this on the radio:

Doc: "McNabb rolling out to his left. Looking for an open man. He just slipped through one...ohhhhhhhhh nailed for a ten yard loss. That's going to put Philly at 3rd and 15 on their 40 yard line."

Then Marv Albert will explain how it was the receiver's or the offensive line's fault and how Donovan McNabb lifts school busses off old ladies and wears an S on his shirt with a matching cape.

This is not a prediction, just a wish:

Eagles 27
Falcons 13

Philly finally gets to the Super Bowl by shutting down Vick's running game and forcing him to have to throw.

Patriots 27
Steelers 24 (OT)

Okay, let me set the scene for this one. Two very good teams fighting it out in the bitter cold. The Steelers have a 24-21 lead with under a minute to go in the game. Brady drives the Pats into field goal range and with just two seconds on the clock, Vinatieri drills a 49-yarder right through the uprights! Longest field goal in Heinz field history! We go into overtime!

Then the Steelers win the coin toss and get the ball. Big Ben drives them to the 20 yard line! Field goal unit comes on the field to win it for the Steelers. But Bruschi BLOCKS THE FIELD GOAL! Bruschi BLOCKS THE FIELD GOAL! Holy crap! Tom Brady then drives the Pats right back down the field but the Pats are stopped to where Vinatieri must attempt a 50-yard field goal INTO THE WIND! The Steelers call a timeout to "ice" Vinatieri. The crowd is going absolutely bonkers. Vinatieri then lines up and drills it perfectly. Will it be long enough! Everybody at Heinz stadium is holding their breath as the ball tumbles and tumbles and tumbles through the air, curving in the wind so that it lines up right smack between the uprights and the ball HITS THE CROSSBAR AND JUST BOUNCES OVER! It is good! It is good!

PATRIOTS WIN! PATRIOTS WIN! Adam Vinatieri is the GREATEST KICKER IN NFL HISTORY! All across the country, people are having heart attackes! What a game! What a game!
