Eek, I dunno if I'm gonna last this game! I'm already sweating! So much at stake!

Michael Vick is the difference between the Falcons being 11-5 and 5-11. Michael Vick is just a stunning athlete. I haven't seen anyone make professional football players look that silly since Deion Sanders and Barry Sanders.
Now if he could just throw the ball a little better, or had one outstanding receiver...
To: CounterCounterCulture
NFC teams incredibly weak. Hope the Steelers will put on a better show.
To: JohnnyZ
That makes Vick a 1 trick pony -- no one in the NFL expects any pro team to run the option.
The Eagles have shown the league how to stop him. The party's over.

I remember how happy I was in 1996 when the Pats made it back to the Super Bowl. After that all I wanted was to see Bob Kraft handed was a Lombardi Trophy.
To: TheRatHunter
Oh, I think the game vs. the Jets was an anomaly. Every team has a flat game.

I think so too. Roeth was WAAAAY overdue for his first real rookie performance! I think we have a real good chance!

This is going to the best OL. Bellichek prevails.

Actually he did have a 136 rating for the entire 1995 season -- but he only made something like 7 passes all year, he was a backup.

I grew up in the era of NFC domination so it's very strange seeing the AFC as the superior conference.
Opposite for me. 70s with the Steelers, Dolphins, Raiders. Then it got weird after the Raiders last SuperBowl win (SBVIII)
To: mainepatsfan
Well, someone's getting a trophy tonight and they'll move on to win the big one in 2 weeks!
Again, here's to a great game between the best 2 teams in the league! Good luck!
To: Nexus6
Oh, yeah, I'm so sure that Jacksonville will appreciate tens of thousands of Eagles fans running rampant in the streets. LOL. [/sarcasm]

I think this game is going to come down to which quarterback plays better. I gotta' go with Brady over the rookie and Belichik's game plan and the Pats' defense over anything the Steelers can come up with.

I do not know about all that. When you are key members of a team that wins 4 Super Bowls then stats do not matter as much. Now if the Steelers had won only one SB then I doubt that either Swann or Stallworth would be in. Or Bradshaw for that matter.

I think you have to have something like an average of 10 attempts per game for your QB rating to be considered legit.
To: Bossy Gillis
"NFC teams incredibly weak. Hope the Steelers will put on a better show."
Agreed. Sloppy and weak playing across the board. Whoever wins the Pittsburgh/New England game wins the SB.
