I think the worst part of the Stewart era was the 5 games he went without an int, he was getting so much praise and deserved none of it. In each one of those games he had at least 5 passes touched by opposing players before his own, he just got lucky to face 5 poorly catching defenses in a row. Luckily he ended the streak with a 4 int game.
I wasn't listening - what did he say?
PLEASE, don't remind me of that game.
That was for 2 reason: compared to his predecessor Stewart was actually pretty good, they just couldn't get a hold of a good QB through any means.
I remember that Super Bowl week when a reporter asked Williams how long he'd been a black quarterback.
Something about McNabb winning a Super Bowl as a black QB. Totally unnecessary.
Well, there are a heck of alot of Penn State grads around here who are "Iggles" fans, so that's what I was basing it on. Hey, I said I was guessing!
The Pats have a chance to complete that New England championship sandwich. What would we call it?
Terry Bradshaw has 4 rings and was never a good ball thrower. He was a good decision maker and great play caller.
3 incompletes in a row! There's the REAL Michael Vick! Eagles take over!
Turn out the lights..... the party is over..
Which game do you think Stewart was worse in? 1997 against Denver or 2001 against the Pats?
Whatta moron.
Yep. Poor Eagles. I like them, but they are here simply so the AFC Champions have someone to beat down for 4 quarters.
Someone will come up with a catchy slogan.
2001 against the Pats because I put a lot of emotion into that game.
I never heard anyone claim that the way to beat the Steelers was to force Bradshaw to throw the ball. But that is the way people beat the Falcons.
Congratulations Eagles
Good luck to the Pats!
