Sorry, withOUT the other Bill by his side. And other typos.
Beer is calling. Time to go.
I dunno..he hit the reciever right in the hands.
I think it was a good call, just bad execution.
Oh yeah..those guys. Well, they're pretty decent there too.
awww come on now Lib, nobody's talking hate. We're just having a little fun here. It's just a football game
And we appreciate you having him!
I watched the entire game and never once saw Coach Cower touch the ball.
Like most fans, I'd probably go for it on 4th down every time. Personally, I never thought that the Steelers had a chance against this juggurnaut called the Patriots. They are in a class all by themselves lately. I hope it lasts forever.
And we appreciate you having him!
I dunno if we've been dis'd or not but..
we appreciate your appreciation!
Next year ;-)
DMac is a helluva guy. It really is a shame so many otherwise reasonable people here on FR can't put the incident to bed and see the guy for what he is: a great QB.
He is a class act..
and my opinion of his on field performance has gone up since his last game..
and I was listening to Rush today and he said McNabb was a much improved q-b since his comment two years ago..
BUT..
the iggles are going to be playing a much better team in the SB than they've faced all year and I don't think Mac is going to be enough.
We'll see.
Tom Coughlin was also on his staff as was Palmer, the first Browns coach. Crennell will have a head coaching job, weiss will some day and you can expect that Pepper Johnson will likely move up someday soon.
I can't speak for those all Pats fans but I wasn't. I have too much faith in Brady.
Assante Samuel played a great game.
That prediction was worse than my prediction Pittsburgh would win by 3.
SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Please God, let my Steelers win."
Better luck next year from a NE Fan. What a great team Steelers had this yearm have to admit it.
McNabb is still overrated.
Actually, it's a hatred of Westwood One's worship of all things McNabb. I quote from last Sunday's game, beginning 4th quarter: "McNabb IS the Eagle franchise."-- Bob Trumpy.
IMO I think Trumpy is an idiot.
Now, if you were less spirited in reacting to my comment, you'll note that all my posts on this thread that I picked the Eagles to win big against the Falcons.
Have a great time rejoicing in victory until Superbowl 39. I pick the Pats but know this that my Giants aren't there so my heart is not in this one. My only comfort is in the fact that Bill Bel was a Giant coach during our heyday.
GO EAGLES GO !!
Speaking of your Giants during their heyday...I think McNabb is in a similar position that John Elway was in earlier in his career. He would carry his team to the Super Bowl but his team didn't have enough to overcome their opponents from a superior conference.
