Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry may want to consider running for president again in 2008. But his wife, local ketchup heiress Teresa Heinz Kerry of Fox Chapel, has made it clear she won't sit still for another campaign. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing," an unidentified Heinz Kerry friend told the Boston Herald. "Teresa will never do it again."
Not necessarily, said Jeff Lewis, a Heinz Kerry spokesman.
"Teresa Heinz is too smart to say that," he said. "She campaigned her heart out, as did her husband ... it was hard work and a great experience and we'll just go from there."
According to the Herald, sources say Heinz Kerry went into a deep funk after President George Bush was re-elected -- especially because her husband came so close to victory.

The topic header is slightly incorrect. It should not read "The ball is in Teresa's hands," it should read, "His balls are in Teresa's hands."

I heard he was planning on running again in 2008. And Fox News is reporting today that even CLINTON might run. Not HER but HIM! Heaven help us!!!!!!!!!!

"She campaigned her heart out..."
Gee, I thought she campaigned her brain out...that was one organ that was conspicuously MIA throughout the whole process.

And she doesn't want to take the chance to blow more money. Could Jean Francois get the Democratic presidential nomination in '08? Doubtful. Remember, only the half the voters liked him. The rest were simply anti-Bush. And its that half that will look for some other candidate. Since there will be no incumbent running in three years time, its going to be a pretty crowded field in both parties.

Don't worry about X42 running again. The Red States aren't going to alter the Constitution just to fit his ego.

Isn't his senate seat up in the same year? If so, he has more decisions to make.

X42 gets another 8 years as CO-president. After all Hitlery served in this unelected role and DID have political power to conduct closed door meetings to socialize the entire healthcare industry (no private practice).

And I was replying to someone who heard the rumor that Billy Boy himself would try to run for president again. But neither plan will bear fruit.
