What a great story! I just love that he is so down-to-earth, even in his impatience at the small stuff!

I played the clarinet also. BTW, I heard from Dolly on the 17th, but nothing was said about the inaugural balls.

Thank you Howlin' for always keeping us up to date!
The leftist rhetoric about the President, Iraq and Abu Gharib will have a moment of irony once the war crimes trials against Hussein and his regime begin. The leftist Congress cabal (kerry kennedy boxer pelosi, et al) will preen in front of the cameras that they were all for removing him and the Old Media will not question them, but we will.
We all know that only through the leadership of President Bush (how good that sounds!) did the remarkable removal of this tyrant and the freeing of Afghanistan occur.
May God continue Bless President Bush, his family, members of his Administration, our armed forces, and the United States of America.

"Extremely proud." As well you should be. Imagine marching in the inaugural parade! Congratulations to ALL of your family!

Darn, I just learned that Greta is giving the Fox coverage for the balls tonight. We really need a saavy woman who knows fashions and people involved for these events. Yes, I do love the gossip. LOL

He was complimentary and I am grateful. U of Nebraska at Omaha is very good, too.

Greta is covering the balls? Eeeww. Maybe someone told her Scott Peterson or Michael Jackson is going to be there and that's why she wanted to do it.

One great thing about this parade: all the bands are playing NORMAL, patriotic music, or at least marching music. I hate it when they march to show tunes.
I also liked the music at the swearing-in ceremony this morning. No democrat would choose "Bless This House."
Oh, and we also had no cheesy poets, a la Maya Angelou.

The judge on Fox said that they think that The Chief Justice will be resigning/retiring soon. Perhaps the last hurrah.
