Tomorrow is "Not One Damn Dime Day" for the left. (wackos trying to hurt U.S. economy)

"NOT ONE DAMN DIME DAY

Since our leaders don't have the moral courage to speak out against the war in Iraq, Inauguration Day, Thursday, January 20th, 2005 is "Not One Damn Dime Day" in America.

On "Not One Damn Dime Day" those who oppose what is happening in our name in Iraq can speak up with a 24-hour national boycott of all forms of consumer spending.

During "Not One Damn Dime Day" please don't spend money, and don't use your credit card. Not one damn dime for gasoline. Not one damn dime for necessities or for impulse purchases. Nor toll/cab/bus or train ride money exchanges. Not one damn dime for anything for 24 hours.

On "Not One Damn Dime Day," please boycott Walmart, KMart and Target. Please don't go to the mall or the local convenience store. Please don't buy any fast food (or any groceries at all for that matter).

For 24 hours, please do what you can to shut the retail economy down. The object is simple. Remind the people in power that the war in Iraq is immoral and illegal; that they are responsible for starting it and that it is their responsibility to stop it."

This is an anonymous letter that has been circulating the net and been posted on many left wing websites (the idea has been attributed to Bill Moyers). I just thought I'd pass the info along to my fellow Freepers. The left hopes to strike a blow to the U.S. economy with a 24 hour boycott beginning midnight tonight, and I think it would be great if we do everything we can to counter this.

So Freepers, if you've been saving up for a new TV, or any big purchase, or if you just need an oil change or a fresh tank of gas, try to buy it tomorrow. Get out there and support American businesses on inauguration day, and help cancel out this pathetic leftist attempt to hurt our economy.

Here are the citizens and companies that are major donors funding President Bush's SECOND Inaguration. We could "spend a few dimes" with them, as a way of saying thanks! :)

Yeah. Of the Kerry 49%, maybe 10% is the lunatic fringe. Of that percentage, maybe 10% will jump on board with this. That .5% of the US voting population will not buy anything tomorrow (but for many things, they will stock up today or make it up the day after). What will we have? Another abysmal failure by the Prozac Party.

You should check your pc for keyloggers and trojans if you are going to DU. The keyloggers you will probably never find the trojans you can find if you smart enough.

Gotta pay for a brake job and oil change tomorrow, followed by Starbucks, so I'm doing my part.

Since the vast majority of lefties work for the government, their money is actually taxpayers' money. So in effect, their reduced spending is a reduction on the burden to the taxpayers!

I have a reservation for four at the best restaurant in town. Treating some friends to dinner, who loaned us their SUV for New Year's weekend in the mountains (their son was our guest at the family cabin). We purposely delayed this event to coincide with the "Not one Dime" BS-Protest.

I wanted to go shopping today, but decided tomorrow would be so much nicer without those crazy liberals sucking up my air. Got a long list of things to pick up and it will be great to be able to shop till I drop without fighting the crowds.

Just gave my hubby a check for the new tires and rims he's been wanting, and told him to 'go for it'!

This is just about as stupid as the "don't by gas on the 12th" emails. If they don't go grocery shopping today, they will have to do it tomorrow.

I think I'm just gonna go out and buy a few gallons of gas and pour them out on the ground.
