Just heard, apparently police are out in force after hearing of the threat
If Washington is the real target, then Bush would be overconfident to be near Cheney today. Reports they came from Mexico, and internet chatter from the Islamo-facists that there's an elaborate diversion hiding the real attack, if the other FReeper is correct [post 600, I quoted part of the message]
"The anti-war group ANSWER is setting bleachers along the inagural parade route, and claims that 10,000 protesters are coming to take part. It's the first time ever that authorities have approved bleachers in such a choice spot for normal protesters, only a few blocks away however from that, along the parade route, conservative websites Free Republic.com, Protest Warrior, and Right March.com are organizing protests of the protests, hoping to ensure a quote public relations disaster for what it calls the radical leftists."
You're right. It's more of an economic terrorist attack.
In this article it talks about a missing crop duster from Mexico.

I'm bouncing back between FNC and NECN in my dorm now...there's not much talk of this at all currently but so far the only individuals being played up right now are the Chinese. I heard shortly ago that there *may* be 2 Iraqis involved as well...again, it's all just speculative.
I'll be on the redeye tonight and get in when normal people are still asleep.
IMHO this is probably just a well done hoax. Timing sure is convenient for the Dems to now scream and moan even louder about how "inappropriate" the inauguration's "excessive festivities" are at a time of war. Just a coincidence, I'm sure...
If Chinese agents are involved then it is an act of war, and China should be blown off the map!
"...And, I seriously question the crediblity of the other site..."
I don't have a clue about the credibility. But it's always good to consider diversions, regardless. Bush and Cheney should be sepaarated, if they haven't already. Why take a chance like that?
That's what I keep thinking. That's what the "tip" was all about...as a distractor so we'd put all our efforts into chasing 4 Chinese people in Boston when the real attack would be two AL Q in DC.
But, I also think that's why the announcement was made...so they'd think we had been fooled. I strongly suspect security has been upped yet another notch in DC.
They should close the DC and Baltimore airports tomorrow.
If Chinese agents are involved then it is an act of war, and China should be blown off the map!
HAPPY EID, INFIDELS.
How ironic, considering your post.
Sauron, with all due respect, think about the DRAG on a boat towing 400 feet of cable with a dirty bomb weighing a ton at the end of it. And you think they can sail thousands of miles of open ocean like that? Impossible, my friend.
Stay safe.
vey kewl!! thanks glock...I always miss stuff, even right in front of my nose. sheesh.
China has nukes, too. And the rats delayed Missile Defense. Wasn't that nice of them?
Yes odd that all the pics of BOLO's so far appear Chinese.
Other website reports.....19 January 2005....authorities are searching for a radiological or "dirty" bomb and nuclear material in the hands of 6-8 men - 4 Chinese, 2 Iraqis and others - in the area from Boston to Washington, DC. Multiple sources have indicated that authorities suspect DC as a likely target to disrupt tomorrow's inauguration.
A law enforcement source, speaking under the condition of anonymity, stated that authorities are searching for 6-8 men, reportedly from Iraq accompanied by suspects of Asian origin- with science backgrounds.
And even worse, the Clintonistas gave them the targeting technology they needed to actually hit something.
This was the treason Clinton and his cronies should have been impeached and imprisoned for.
If China ever hits us, the name Clinton will only be spoken as a curse forever after.
There is no way any resources would ever be pulled out of DC to defend any city. Not to mentiont his week. If that is their plan they are badly mistaken.
