The MSM fury against the War In Iraq is just such howling. After hundreds of terrorist acts globally, we finally got pi$$ed enough to do something about it after they took two airborne "scimitars" to our two "throats" on 9/11.

I think if he had been the priest, they would have reported it. But it sounds like he might have been an elder. A lot of Orthodox and Eastern Rite Catholic churches have elders, who are very important people in the church, although they are not ordained and usually not paid. They are involved in administrative things and are sometimes the spokesman for the congregation (when a new priest comes in, for example).

That's just my speculation, however.

The Koran states quite clearly that anyone who converts from Islam has to be killed. That's most likely why they were targeted.

It's a "wise statement" on it's surface. But taken to its extreme, it gives carte blanche. So, I disagree.
