I was hoping Pennington would pull a Joe Pisarcik with 5 secs remaining. .....yep, conservative play calling.
Jets got a big break on that last spot.

The crowds in the old Roman arenas probably screamed like these fans are screaming.

HA! I would punch whoever made that first call in the face and throw him out of the stadium!
To: TheRatHunter
Don't hold your breath they'll overturn this.

More importantly not where they jumped from in order to catch the ball, he jumped backwards 2 yards.

Sorry, but he missed that last FG by 25 feet--short and left. The jets need to make the next one a chip shot from 20 yards.

The replay I saw was inconclusive...

The Jets should go for a win on a long Moss TD pass.

It seems fair to spot it at the 40, since that's where his feet came down...but I don't know what the rule is.
To: carl in alaska
That was the second one. THe first kick hit the lower upright, 3 inches.

I always thought it was the location of the ball when the feet hit the ground.

I'll be very surprised if this is overturned.
To: thoughtomator
I think Pennington would blow it if they did.

Nope. It's where the ball is when he's hit.
To: Mr. Mojo
There is only ONE Joe Piscarcik allowed per century!
The spot was a bit generous -- not as bad as it first looked.
My question is: WHERE was the Steeler pass rush? They're getting handled by the Jets line.
