NYJ at PIT, Sat, 4:30 p.m. EST
STL at ATL, Sat, 8:00 p.m. EST
I hope the Bills are watching this game, realizing what could've been...
It seems the Steelers caught the sleep-walking disease from them in the last game of the season.
Punt return for a TD + INT return for a TD + Bettis fumble at the end of a great drive in the 4th qtr = big ass trouble for the Steelers. Tough to come back from mistakes like that
If this keeps up, Rush is gonna be pissed!
Getting the ball back, let's do it right this time, please Steelers???
What the Jets are doing that the Steelers are not is not giving up big plays, and in that the Steelers are getting blown out.
The Pittsburgh fans are stuned. One would think they'd be used to homefield chokes.
Time Pennington's drive. If he plays it right, (score no matter) Jets advantage. Run and short outs.
Still here, just drinking harder :)
Back in a minute
Then they send the Jets 3 and out. Now they're tired defense goes back on the field and the Steelers will have the ball at midfield with plenty of time. It was a close game against the Jets in the regular season too.
Exactly!! Manning will probably move the ball between the 20's tomorrow. As long as the Pats keep him out of the end zone enough times they'll move on.
I count 3 (one of each non-offensive type, int, fumble, big kick return) big plays to 1. Not quite a blow out, but it is hard to win when behind in the turn overs.
maybe I've had enough
but screw it I'm going for another one
Jets need to keep the ball in bounds, run the time off the clock, and put a capping FG through the posts, and they live another week. Donnie Henderson MVP.
I think they have a good shot here. The Jets are confident, but when you get that big a break and then blow the whole drive, it demoralizes you. Steelers have to strike NOW, or not at all.
The Steelers have moved the ball well on their last two drives they've just ended in disaster.
Nope, Pennington throws a bad pass.
To quote Austen Powers "ouch babY, ouch".
No doubt about it, but except for the AFC championship game I wouldn't say the Pats kicked the Colts ass in any of those games. There's a difference between a win and an ass kicking.
Jets defense adapts very well... they'll put a stop to the run.
