NYJ at PIT, Sat, 4:30 p.m. EST
STL at ATL, Sat, 8:00 p.m. EST
They have to go long here, let's see if the Steelers can cover the wides..
A very close game at the end of the half. 10 even.
Again great clock management by the Jets. Still they've got to be thrilled to be tied at the half.
Refs just gave Pitt a gift. Jets had that with time on the clock.
The Steelers have the return coming up, that's about all they have going for them right now unless they pick up and start playing.
No, the ball wasn't set and the right linemen were still in movement.
Steelers have a BIG problem in the form of LaMont Jordan running all over their pass defense, and McCareins and Moss shredding the secondary.
But the Jets are even at Half Time.....that is a big deal to me...
Probably would have come to nothing anyway. 10-10 at the half, and we have an EXCELLENT game of top-notch football. The NFL is truly the most competitive and best-run sport in America.
This is a toss-up.
If we're in for a year of wacky weather we might as well be in for a year of close playoff games. OT in all of them. OT in the Superbowl. Yeah!
Nobody expects the Jets Defense Inquisition!
I'll never forget eight years ago watching Jacksonville upset Denver in the divisional round. The Broncos got up on them early but the Jags fought back for the upset. Which meant the Pats got to host the AFC title game that year.
OT in AFC champ game, I can see that. OT in Superbowl, no way - AFC wins in a blowout no matter who appears.
And naturally, no one else in the world appreciates it!
This is a great game, despite the fact that I wanted the Steelers to have a comfortable lead throughout the game. Been waiting years to see them not screw the playoffs up.
As they will this year unless they drop to Indy.
What about the MLS?/major sarcasm
Don't dismiss the NFC that easily.
This looks like a game decided by the clock. Pennington is too slow, has to keep the D on the field.
