LOL - didn't say anything about the score. My comment was a reply to the comment about the awesome special teams play after Rossum's(sp?) 44 yrd return. It was a block in the back.

I just have a feeling Stokley is going to have a huge game. I hope I don't jinx him by saying so.

That stinks. Well I'm off to Foxboro tomorrow and hopefully by this time tomorrow night I'll be celebrating the Pats trip to the AFC title game. Good night all!

It was an outstanding game!Sure was a lot better showing than the Rams. Wow did they look terrible. The Falcons looked good, but the Rams looked worse.
And on that second long run back on the punt the falcons made, not only was it clipping that got the runner free in the first place, there was also a major hold that should have been called.
Well, I still have two teams in it. Steelers and Indianapolis.

Our last hope for the West Coast was San Diego. We're doomed!

Our last hope for the West Coast was San Diego. We're doomed!Root for Pittsburgh. They have always been LA's adopted team, especially when the Rams were out here.

And on that second long run back on the punt the falcons made, not only was it clipping that got the runner free in the first place, there was also a major hold that should have been called.I used my DVR to record the game and though the replays that were shown on TV looked as if it was a block in the back, the original, live camera shot was from a higher perspective and caught the two players earlier in the play.
They were running together and the Rams player looked at the Falcon coming to block him and turned his head at the last moment in order to try and draw the foul.
It was much like when a punter falls down and fakes being run into. Sometimes it works and some times it doesn't. The ref didn't go for it this time, but it could have been called either way.

Seattle and St. Louis looked like they were playing last week to see who'd lose this week. I saw a few minutes of the game this week, and it looked like what I expected the Rams to look like when they played a decent team.
The most impressive team I've seen so far in the playoffs is the Colts, although New England hasn't stepped on the field yet, nor has Philly.
Interesting side-notes:
Of the remaining teams, none of the NFC representatives has ever won a Super Bowl, although all three have been. All three AFC teams have both won and lost Super Bowls.
Cleveland, Houston, Jacksonville, Seattle, Phoenix, New Orleans, and Detroit are the only teams that have never been to a Super Bowl (and it ain't changing this year).
If the Steelers go and win, they will match Dallas and San Francisco with five Super Bowl trophies.

Did you see the hold down field, with the Rams player trying to tug his arm loose from the grip of the Falcon player blocking him?

Was the play by play guy on Fox drunk? He got everything wrong.

Didn't I say that the Steelers wouldn't cover the spread? I forgot that part. They were killing me in over time. I really thought they were going to lose. I didn't get to watch the second game, I had a crab feed to go to.

I left at half-time, just came back to check the final score....C-SPAN Booknotes was way more interesting....Ken Adekman was doing a surgical dissection on a Living Body named Howard Friel , Author of " The Record of the paper" ~~about the New York Times and who says the Invasion of Iraq was against internation Law and so was the Invasion of Afghanistan...
Adelman was all over him!!!!
Info:
After Words: Howard Friel interviewed by Ken Adelman
Friel is the author of Dogs of War: The Wall Street Journal and the Right-Wing Campaign Against International Law, 2005.
