Before the game, Dan Marino said that Steelers would win because the team was strong enough.

The Steeler won because the Jets lost it. How many times have we seen a couch play it safe, burning plays before going for a field goal.

You know what, I that back. The Steelers won it. They did not burn plays on the final push. They pushed until their only option was a field goal.

Don't get me started on Erickson. LOL

The first thing he did when he got up here was get himself a DUI.

Pats is my team to win it all, only because of Mike Vrabel, a former Ohio State boy.

My daughter played basketball at Ohio State, and was in a wedding party that he was in. Her former teammate married his former teammate. I have to say, besides my daughters wedding, it was the best reception I've ever been to!

Very nice guy, and it was the first time I got to see a Super Bowl ring in person. He came over to our table to talk to my daughter, and my son-in-law was joking about how he was going to tell him to quit flirting with her...lol. I thought that was sweet, considering Vrabel has shoulders the size of...well, they're very broad....:)

I can't believe they hired Erickson. He was a loser from the getgo. Maybe they wanted to ensure he'd never work as a coach in the NFL again.

Wowowowowow! Anyone watching the Rams/Falcons game?? Vick was about to get sacked and then snuck through to run 47 yards!

As a Browns fan, I was pulling for the Jets (I can never root for Pittsburgh!), but from what I saw of the second half, the Steelers running game really made the difference. Kind of an ugly win despite the turnovers, but that's the mark of a good team. Next week at Heinz Field will be a good game to watch regardless of the opponent (I am pulling for the Pats.)

That's what Vick does. The good news for the Rams is he doesn't actually throw the ball well.

IMO, whomever wins the Rams-Falcons game will lose to the Eagles-Vikes winner next week.

It'll be the Eagles and I agree, whoever wins today will lose next week.

I'm not disagreeing, but we get into woulda, coulda, shoulda here. Had the Jets made either field goal, it would be the Jets with the victory. In a way, the mistakes evened out. The Steelers were intercepted twice, and that kept the Jets in the game. The balance though was that the Jets failed to kick two field goals, and that kept the Steelers in the game.

I'm a retired flight attendant from United Airlines...my friend is a retired pilot from United Airlines....he's an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh...we figured that if Pittsburgh won, we'd like to see them play New England in the Super Bowl. What do you think?
