NYJ at PIT, Sat, 4:30 p.m. EST
STL at ATL, Sat, 8:00 p.m. EST
Of course. I'll be there cheering the Pats on.
Thank you, my friend. (I was glad to see you on this thread...it's fun to watch other people go through the gut-wrenching stuff sometimes, isn't it? LOL)
Man, I hope Cowher and his boys get it together for next week. Maybe they should consider letting Ben where his Jesus socks with the logo showing...whatever works!
27-24? Kick is no good?
Who do you like between the Colts and Pittsburg?
What a game!
The Steelers stunk tonight, but a win is a win!
Congratulations to the Jets for one heck of a game! This one's a classic!
I think Pennington proved to a national audience that he's for real. Tough break Jets fans!
Good call - also, Jets/Mets Country extends to points east (LI) - while Yanks/Jints are in Westchester - No. NJ. It's hereditary, after all.

I spent most of the game today creating a MS Access database file for my DVD library and doing a ton of laundry. It took me six hours to get both done.
Sitting on the couch with my dell laptop with wireless DSL internet with my battery fully charged. Woohoo!
Cool! Have fun!! I love Peyton Manning, but my best friend is a Pats fan so I'm hoping to see them in the SB. It should be a good game. I'm more concerned about NE getting past the Colts than I am the Steelers, at this point...the underdog teams are fighting hard this year.
Nope! Doesn't get much better than this!
I also recall a play (against a forgotten opponent) where he turned the corner and smashed a linebacker in the helmet with that same forearm, knocking the dude unconsious for a few minutes. One of the few plays I can recall where a running back got called for unnecesary roughness.
But yeah, he lost his edge pretty quickly after reaching 30.
So I missed an OT win. Oh well :-)
My luck, this next game will be a blowout ;-)
Why? Are the Steelers going to play the Colts in a basketball game after they play the Patriots for the AFC title?
I'm on a laptop too, but other than watching the game, I haven't done ANYTHING. LOL
Looks like Holmgren is staying here...have you heard anything about movement down there? (I haven't been watching too closely.)
Before the game, Dan Marino said that Steelers would win because the team was strong enough. Michael Irvin said that the Steelers would lose because Rothlisberger was a rookie and he would choke. They were both essentially right. Rothlisberger threw two interceptions, one for a touchdown return, and the second which put the Jets back into field goal range. But the "choke" which kept the Steelers the game came from the Jets kicker, not the Steelers quarterback. Twice, the Jets kicker could have won the game for them, and twice he missed. In the end, it was a field goal that won the game. Now, I'm not dissing Rothlisberger though, and I give him and his offense a LOT of credit. As for the Jets, their defense kept them in the game, not their offense.
You mean the Colts!
I was kinda hoping that both Coach Carroll and the Heisman Trophy Winner for USC would be going to SF. But no such luck. I heard they've finished interviewing for the coaching job in SF but missed who it was they did interview. I wish Mora had been hired instead of Erickson. Heck either or the son would of been great.
I like any of the remaining playoff teams against the Steelers.
Ben R+10 seems to be regressing and whats Cowher's record in the playoffs past the point? 1 & 6 or something?
