"Damn shame if his music isn't "acceptable" for the Republican party. The sailors of the USS Cole found his music acceptable when they pulled out of the port of Aden in Yemen. They stood at attention on the deck as the Star Spangled Banner was played."NEWS FLASH:

The "deck" of the USS Cole isn't quite the same venue as the stage at the Presidential Inaugural.

I'm just guessing, but I'm sure you'd agree that just because Republicans may drink and smoke and swear, doing it in the company of the President or Pope would be inappropriate.

Was Kid going to drink and smoke and swear?

I doubt it.

You are not basing this upon what he was going to do, but what he has done (in context) in the past.

You're right "all" americans were represented on the deck of the USS Cole.

You and Farah can keep it up, but I hope you realize that too much nagging and nannyism often produces a backlash and marginalization, and increases the likelihood that Giuliani wins the GOP primary. Social conservatives are not the majority of the GOP, and thus we need votes from other wings of conservatism to win. Spit on 'em too much, and they may surprise you.
