Hmmm. I am a big fan of a good Belgian lambric, personally. I don't like beer in general. Give me a lambric or a Long Beach, if I'm going to drink something.
It seems there is no real middle ground between watery junk and motor oil.

It seems there is no real middle ground between watery junk and motor oil.Try Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or a Belgian beer (like Chimay)... You might not like them, but they're certainly neither water (Pacifico) nor "motor oil" (Stone Russian Imperial Stout).

It seems there is no real middle ground between watery junk and motor oil. After making it to Munich a few years ago for Oktoberfest, it is pretty hard to ever "enjoy" beer in the U.S. again. :-)

For me...a good Italian beer like Morretti is good with food, as are the Czech Pilsners.
Ive always like Guiness, and if youre hard core...Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout..but maybe thats motor oil for you!

This troubles me as just turning 40. Can't do the Micros, Love my Coors lite. Crown now and then is O.K.. (martini & ROSSI ping too for us in Wa.) Beer covers 2 of the 4 food groups! We must support nutrition!
