My film might have been called 'The Compassion of the Christ.'"Only after a night of REALLY hard drinking.
We know who the father of lies is, maybe Mickey is the nephew or something.

"I thought it was a powerful piece of filmmaking," Moore told AP Radio Sunday. "I'm a practicing Catholic, and you know I think Mel and I may be from different wings of the Catholic Church. My film might have been called 'The Compassion of the Christ.'" And Jesus probably would be running an abortion clinic in the film.
As for Gibson's remarks, someone should tell him how moore said that the terrorist islamofascist scum are akin to the Patriots who founded the greatest country on Earth.

Yet another one to cross of my watch list. At this rate, only Jimmy Stewart & John Wayne movies will be left to watch.

In another account, I read where Mel said that there were parts where he had disagreements about the editing and other things in the film F911.
Did anyone ever see Mel's movie "Conspiracy Theory?". Mel is into conspiracies, it was handed down to him from his father. I can see how he might like F911 in a way. I am sure alot of this was just Mel being gracious, and appreciative of how another independent film maker has bucked the odds and succeded.

Look my brother loves fatty moore but i can't stand him, surely that doesn't mean I should hate my bro right?
Gibson is playing the proverbial two step. Pandering to the fag lefties in Hollywood but at the same time lining up his chickens to roost. He wants to run a studio!! You do not do that by alienating fagland!!
Hell if it wasn't for fatty Moore would the right not have been galvanized to defeat Kerry? Who knows maybe Fatty is a double agent!! passing himself off as a bleeding heart liberal but deep deep down inside, he is a crafty neocon in league with Cheny and Wolfy!!!
LOL

Oh come on, Mel Gibson, don't be so fatuous. Fahrenheit 9/11 was a bunch of garbage. I hope he has to 'clarify' this statement.

They don't call it the left coast for nothing. The People's Choice Awards was a joke this year anyway. This is the first year they didn't use Gallup for the data, and instead they used Internet polling which provided the wacko libs/dims a way to rig the vote for Moore. The lengths they are willing to go to to move their agenda is simply breathtaking.

Gibson was going to release Moore's film but Gibson could not handle two controversial film releases at the same time. Gibson, on Hannity hinted he did not support Bush and mentioned the lack of WMD as one reason. Hannity was dumbstruck atthe time and tried to explain it away at that time. Hannity, who is invested in promoting the Passion to his listeners did not press the point during the interview.
Gibson, is either a paleo-conservative or what would be called in Europe a Christian Democrat - Christian Democrats are for family values and are for the govt providing services - big govt.
Lastly, let us not forget thatthe Vatican was against the war in Iraq and hinted it was an unjust war.

Maybe Mel is simply trying to be gracious. Still, my first reaction was to run for the airsick bag!

People can make exuses or rationalize this all they want. Gibson liked F911. Nuff said. A conservative would never praise that POS or the fat turd who made it.
