CODE PINK GIVES $600,000 TO THE 'OTHER SIDE' IN FALLUJAH (TREASON ALERT!)
Saturday, January 1, 2005 | Kristinn

Posted on 01/01/2005 6:29:45 AM PST by kristinn

American citizen Medea Benjamin, a leader of the anti-American group Code Pink, announced in Amman, Jordan this week that Code Pink, it's parent group Global Exchange and Families for Peace have donated $600,000 in aid to the 'other side' in the terrorist haven city of Fallujah in Iraq.

This news, which has been ignored by the media worldwide, was reported by Agence France Press but was picked up by only two small news outlets:

"I don't know of any other case in history in which the parents of fallen soldiers collected medicine ... for the families of the 'other side'," said Medea Benjamin, the founding director of Global Exchange, a human rights group.

"It is a reflection of a growing movement in the United States ... opposed to the unjust nature of this war," she said.

"This is the positive face of the American people which we would like to show ... so that we are not looked at with animosity but with love. Our hearts go out to the people of Fallujah and to all the Iraqi people," she said.

Medea Benjamin and those working with her, opposed the liberation of the people of Iraq from the brutal reign of Saddam Hussein. They call themselves human rights activists, yet they support the worst human rights violators in the world from Fidel Castro to the terrorists in Fallujah.

With American troops in harm's way in Fallujah, Medea Benjamin's proud admission that she and her cohorts are giving aid to the 'other side' should be grounds for her arrest for treason.

Code Pink along with their anti-American friends International ANSWER--whose leader Ramsey Clark is one of Saddam Hussein's defense lawyers--will be protesting President Bush at his Inaugural Parade on January 20, using permits issued by the U.S. government.

The way the left sees it, they have already won. It is only a matter of time before the nation is shaped in their socialist ideal.

Blackmun's creation of a 'privacy' clause, in the 14th Amendment, is what all of these groups use to hide behind. This same phantom clause helped create the Roe v. Wade decision and many others.

It is the whole 'living constitution' idea that was the greatest success for the left. They have used it to undermine every other article and amendment since. Hence the 10th amendment is dead, the 1st amendment is not even recognizable: Freedom from religion, rather than freedom of religion / Freedom of expression (burn the flag, pee on the cross), rather than freedom of speech.

The next step is to codify freedom of 'speech'. It's only free if politically correct. Their next target is to render the 2nd amendment to apply only to Government sanctioned bodies: Military, police, etc.

The point of my tirade is this: it is too late to go after these groups with legal action, the courts have already sanctioned what they do and are filled with sympathizers to their cause.

Our only hope is to elect right thinking politicians, who will nominate and install judges who make decisions based on the actual wording of the Constitution, not on some fable of intent. Then we can work to overturn many of these past decisions Beyond that is a step that none of us really want our children to live through. One civil war was enough.

Then we, and the MSM, should call them what they are: "terrorist sympathizers"; yet that will never happen because the MSM won't even call the terrorists "terrorists".

I hope so.

Code Pinko is one of the groups that was in Iraq during the war helping to undermine troop morale.

Look it up.

I have to side with cyncooper. First, I have never known her to make such a claim without having researched the issue in detail. I would bet she can back up what she says, but please do not ask for that proof. When the issue is one small question, Freepers are quick to provide source and proof. When it is such a largescale, long duration issue, like Saddam and terrorism over the past 50 years (at least), then you would be asking the individual to spend days gathering all the elements of proof they have witnessed from a variety of sources, not just the Internet. Were they to do so for everyone that demanded 'proof', they would never have time to enjoy the internet, specifically FR, ever again.

Saddam paid killers to assasinate President Bush I over 12 years ago. They, obviously, were not successful. Assassination of the President of the United States ordered by the Dictator of a foreign country. How much many 'crimes' outside his country, does the man have to commit to convince you?

Saddam 'adopted' the Muslim religion, because it was a means to more power, to use religion to control the population and direct their moral focus. Because it's prophet was insane with lust for power and made all laws to support and enhance his basest desires. Just like Saddam.

Saddam, through the Immams, controlled the hearts and minds of the populace. Immams, another name for SECRET SERVICE POLICE. All just versions of gang rule.

These people lived under and worshipped a leader that had his own personal torture and sex slave dungeons. His son roamed city streets protected by a military entourage, hunting females to gang rape.

The so-called Muslims that performed 9-11 were all from differing countries. They were financed, in part, by Saddam. They trained in his country, with his permission.

They had meetings with OBL, who we know was being officially supported by Saddam. Just ask any Iraqi.

The Muslim religion was corrupted by what few realize is the real argument in the "separation of church and state" issue going on in the United States.

The real issue was that our founders were concerned about ensuring a separation of the POWERS of CHURCH, and POWERS of STATE. If the two were mixed, then the laws of man, and the laws of God were corrupted by those who could not resist the lust for power and wealth.

Mohammed, Saddam, BC.,Dan Rather

Imagine the CLINTONS being able to have not only been in PRESIDENCY, but to have also controlled one single religion that everyone in the nation was either a devotee, or marked for death.

Thanks for posting the article.

I find it ironic, as another poster hinted at, that this group takes a name so truly deserved.

Actually, I know of one female singer that needs to sue them for using her concept. "PINK".

I am sure, when this group was being formed, that the founders were aware that they would just become tools of an mindset with almost the same name. "PINKO"

One must admit, this group is doing exactly what Jesus says to do in the Bible. "Love your enemies". The fact they are being manipulated by evil intent, and their actions will help support continuance of those whose have evil intent, is where the irony again enters.

What I call "Good Intent - Bad Direction"

This IS grounds for treason. It's a public announcement of treason, which is the same as committing an act of treason in front of witnesses. Arrest that pig.

"Medea Benjamin and her pal Gael Murphy also are the ones who were somehow allowed onto the floor of the Republican convention, where they also disrupted the speeches of the VP and the President."

Yep, I saw them. The president appeared to be about to aim a remark at them, but the crowd did SUCH a fine job of shouting them down with chants of "four more years" that he just laughed, waited for things to wuiet down a tad and went on with his speech.

P.S.
The town encurred major destruction in discrete areas.

Even though 'the enemy', some of those who stayed in Fallujah were not terrorists.

Rebuilding needs to go on, just as everywhere else in Iraq.

Do the people who stayed, and those who left their homes and businesses as the US asked, and who now return to find everything destroyed, not deserve the chance to be free IRAQI citizens too?

And if this particular group has the conviction to support that effort, regardless to the disapproval or punishment it might entail?

We have spent tons of money getting electrical power distributed to private citizens in Iraq. IT wasn't that we had to repair generator plants. It was that there was no infrastructure (utility lines, generating stations) for the people. It was all routed to Saddam's spoils.

Some of those we helped, still helped the terrorists.
Right now we are sending food, water, equipment, troops, money to ACEH. This was a major terrorism center, and most populations hit by the tsunami force waves were Muslim.
Should we judge PINK, when we have done the same?

So...Code Pink just added to the amount of aid already pledged? That makes it difficult to find out exactly WHO they gfave money to. WE know they would never give money to any but Ba'athist thugs, but knowing something and having evidence to prove it are two different things.
