This is a good laugh. The leftist idiots are up to no good as usual. I doubt this will have any impact at all. You can see the mob mentality and intellect of the leftist in this e-mail. LOL!
Not One Damn Dime Day" - Jan 20, 2005
(Mark your calendars now)!!!
Inauguration Day, Thursday, January 20th, 2005 is "Not One Damn Dime Day" in America.
On "Not One Damn Dime Day" those who oppose what is happening in our name in Iraq can speak up with a 24 hour national boycott of all forms of consumer spending.
During "Not One Damn Dime Day" please don't spend money. Not one damn dime for gasoline. Not one damn dime for necessities or for impulse purchases. Not one damn dime for nothing for 24 hours.
On "Not One Damn Dime Day," please boycott Wal-Mart, Kmart, Target..Please don't go to the mall or the local convenience store. Please don't buy any fast food (or any groceries at all for that matter).
For 24 hours, please do what you can to shut the retail economy down.
The object is simple. Remind the people in power that the war in Iraq ! is immoral and illegal; that they are responsible for starting it and that it is their responsibility to stop it.
"Not One Damn Dime Day" is to remind them, too, that they work for the people of the United States of America, not for the international corporations and K Street lobbyists who represent the corporations and funnel cash into American politics.
"Not One Damn Dime Day" is about supporting the troops. The politicians put the troops in harm's way.
Now 1,200 brave young Americans and (some estimate) 100,000 Iraqis Have died. The politicians owe our troops a plan - a way to come home.
There's no rally to attend. No marching to do. No left or right wing agenda to rant about. On "Not One Damn Dime Day" you take action by doing nothing.
You open your mouth by keeping your wallet closed.
For 24 hours, nothing gets spent, not one damn dime, to remind our religious leaders and our politicians of their moral respo! nsibility to end the war in Iraq and give America back to the people.
Please share this email with as many people as possible.

MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH AND IN SPACE
Maybe it's code, and they are waiting for the mothership to come back and get them.
Make it 4 more years, then we can talk.
Take "don't buy gas day" as an example. They claim that if everyone didn't buy gas on a single day that the supply of gas would thus increase substantially and cause a decrease in the price through the increased supply along with the evil gas companies getting the message that we aren't going to pay the high prices any more.
It doesnt work because people who are serious about not buying gas that day just buy the day before if they are going to need gas to get around that day and if their tank already has enough for that day they just buy gas the next time they need it.
Supply and Demand are not affected in any way, shape, or form. Period. Only through substantial behavioral changes on a massive scale over a long period of time could such a scheme actually have an impact.
"'Peace in Space?' I'll give you 'Peace in Space'!"
"How about "not one damn movie for a week". Tell Hollywood we don't need their opinions on our goverment."
Well, that won't be hard. I boycott Hollywood about 49 weeks out of the year already.
Qwinn
said Kucinich to the frequent standing ovations of 1400+ people in attendance at the Agape International Spiritual Center. "We can reach millions of people in one month through the Internet," and "we can ban all space-based weapons," he told another group of about 250 people who packed a home meeting in Malibu, California, where emphasized "We must do this!"
Insane Congressman Dennis "the Menace" Kucinich keeps pushing H.R. 3616 to ban weapons in space. This email had to be started by a supporter of that whackjob.
Jan. 1 - Hold all unnecessary purchases 'til 20th.
Jan. 19 - Be sure all gas tanks and fuel containers are near empty.
Jan. 20 - Shopping for next month.
Buy gifts for all possible occasions for coming year.
Thanks for the consumer tip!
do they even have any money? judging from the ones I saw in NYC and DC, they are the social malcontents who make and grow their own stuff anyway.
Sorry I should have put a barf alert warning on the subject.
Hmm. This might put a monkeywrench in the inaugural protestors' plans. No money spent for food, drink, gas or transportation...no bail money....no Kinkos signage money.
Looks like I'll be picking that day to make most of my weekly purchases.
Ditto...
Bingo!
The liberal loons think there are space ships from other worlds sitting out there in space just waiting to come in and straighten out the wrong that's taking place world-wide....especially AMERICA. They've all gone off the deep end.
I thought lefties already boycotted these places. That's OK, natural food stores, head shops, hip boutiques and bohemian cafes all pay taxes too so BushCo will still get its cut.
This is another bogus left saying. You cannot support the troops if you do not support the war. Leftist need to look up the word support. It would be more accurate for them to say they care about the troops, but do not support the war.
