Dear sir,
This is the thread that No_Outcome_But_Victory suggested. I have listed the few organizations I know of right now.
If this is not a good place to post this thread, feel free to move it.
Salvation, I am pinging you because you mentioned a priest that does work in one of the effected areas. If you have any more info feel free to update.
Thanks everyone.
After Sri Lanka objected to help from Israel, you better find some charities that go exclusively to Thailand and India... Not a penny to Indonesia or Sri Lanka!

Please don't send any money to Sri Lanka. The bigots can help themselves.
Only fools would send money to "tsunami victims".
This money WILL get into the hands of terroists and will be used to kill Americans.
Think "Oil for Food".
Besides, your tax dollars are being given to these nations anyway. When America announces it is giving cash to these nations, it is your tax dollars already being given.
If you love America, do not give one penny to these charities.

The LCMS finally got a good donation site.

Thanks everyone so far! Keep it up!

I can recommend Samaritan's Purse (run by Franklin Graham, Billy Graham's son, and one of the few organizations that has been in Sudan during the past few years directly helping the victims of the massacres there).

ROME, Dec 28 (Reuters) - The Vatican, appealing for urgent assistance from world Catholics, said on Tuesday it had raised $6 million so far in emergency aid following Asia's tsunami disaster that killed more than 50,000 people.
Members of church groups like Caritas and Jesuit Refugee Services were also being dispatched to affected countries to reinforce relief efforts, according to Cor Unum, the Vatican organisation that coordinates charity funds.

Another good one is Samaritan's Purse. This is run
by Franklin Graham, son of Billy.

I heard on FoxNews Channel that Catholic Charities had sent in both money and people.
Father Emerito is a priest in Goa, India. I will try to find out a link for him when I call the priest from Sri Lanka I mentioned above.
What about Feed The Children out of Oklahoma. They are the ones that have the semi's with the Feed The Children Logo on the trailers. I know they have also been active overseas.

The American relief organization, USAID, has a huge list with links or charities. Find one you like.
People will remember who gave them food, watch and medical care when they lost everything.
