Keep in prayer for the Vietnam Human Rights Bill. It is presently in the Senate after passing by a wide margin in the House. |

I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but this thread is about two years old.
BTTT
AHOLA PING
There is also the troubling question of the massacres in Cambodia, in which the numbers of dead and disappeared were only equalled by Hitler and Stalin.
Yes, we made many an error in VietNam. Chief among them was our refusal to fight to a finish and win, based on what turned out to be a faulty assumption that this would lead to intervention by China and Russia. The quarter-century between Korea and VietNam did not, in that regard teach us much.
But it did teach our enemies ... actual and potential ... that we no longer had the guts for military solutions to military problems. It also taught our enemies that our policies could be manipulated by an alliance between them and our media.
NEVER FORGET!

What's truly at stake for us now..?

The Jihadists want to replace our U.S. Constitution with Islamic Law, our President with an Islamic Mulah in the White House.
BELIEVE IT..!!!

Thanks!
BTW, my tag should have read "Peace Without Freedom Is Tyranny!" But FReepers are smart and you all got that, right?
They've given you proof, but for some unknown reason, you don't want to accept it.
Check out "Voice of the Martyrs" for more proof.

Thank you, freema, for your kind ALOHA ping,
....just for the CLARITY of it.

"Please give me documented proof that people are sent to camps in Vietnam for simply being Christian"
You gotta be kidding, right? You think any gov't documents things like that, in English?
Read 1984 by George Orwell, they are sent there for crimes against the state; like "thought crime". And the things they are guilty of, we would call Christian behavior.... It's totaly believable.
And all that aside, if YOU were upset over Abhu Grabe, you should feel these people are being mis-treated NO MATTER what their crime!
A few words on "re-education."
For a loyal soldier of the Forces of South Vietnam, the standard trip to hell at the hands of the Communists was 13 years. If you lived.
My wife's brother Fong died in the prison. Rest his soul. My wife, thankfully, is a survivor. She persevered for eight long years.
I met, just the other day at the Jiffy Lube, one Mr. Nguyen Nguu. I think he was a Lieutenant Colonel because he was a graduate of the Command and Staff College at Da Lat.
He spent thirteen years as a "guest of the Communists."
It is never pretty.
Please go and read and ppost a comment at:

Wishful thinking. No one is sent to a re-education camp simply for being Christian.
In Vietnam they most certainly are if not beaten to death in their meeting place or home.
Brought to you by John F'n Kerry, Jane Fonda, communist retard hippies and a Democrat Congress. Me, and my brothers in arms won that stinking war! Look it up.
Yawn...
Just like no Jews were killed in the concentration camps?
Strawman arguement... Please give me documented proof that people are sent to camps in Vietnam for simply being Christian. Sorry, it does not happen. There is plenty of proof of Nazi prosecution of Jews.
I know personally some who go to Vietnam to work among the underground church and death or re-education is the norm for believers who are caught or just sometimes accused by someone else. Documented proof? Are you tuned into the real world? How, get access to offical files or maybe we should contact the free press in Vietnam? Nuts!
How about someone I know and trust who knew a pastor of a village church who was beaten to death in front of his congregation and then the congregation was trucked away to....? This happened in 2006. Why? They were Christian and were illegally meeting. Sorry I don't have photos and the witnesses are no longer around to talk to.

And heard thee murmur tales of iron wars ... "

Praise GOD that...
LOVE is the Only Reality and...
GOE is LOVE..?

Please define 'underground church'. There are Christian churches all over Vietnam where people worship without any interference from the Vietnamese government.
Coming to Iraq and Afghanistan soon, thanks to the same folks who brought it to Vietnam--the Democratic Party of the United States of America.
What else could so great a thing as love be, but God.
