The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

WASHINGTON - A terrorist attack on a tanker loaded with liquefied natural gas could cause massive damage a third of a mile away and could send a vapor cloud billowing more than 1.5 miles, government scientists say.

With the the nation clamoring for more natural gas, policy-makers are trying to figure out how to safely import large quantities of liquefied natural gas or LNG.

Thanks for your kinds words MamaD. I also wish we had some sort of database to keep track of and cross reference information. I can't even begin to remember all the posts to TM from one year ago.

I honestly have no idea. Amir, in the photos, does look like he could be 28. I have also noticed a few, scattered, posts on H&M (Hearts & Minds) that refer to Amir in the 3rd tense (odd).
But, I defer to Velveeta's knowledge of IH and the history there. I also don't remember clearly enough the photos from SI. Argggg. I need memory pills.

Five suspected illegal immigrants were being questioned Monday night at Stinson Airfield shortly after their plane was forced down by federal agents.

San Antonio Police surrounded the airport close to 9 p.m. Monday after receiving a call for help from the Department of Homeland Security, officials said.

The single-engine Cessna plane was intercepted after officials said it was flying in American airspace illegally. The people on the plane appear to be Chinese.

No word on where the plane left from or its destination.
