The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

There's been one in Portland, Oregon for quite a while. Remember the "Portland 6"?

That's right! But he was just telling me that it wasn't on the map. I sure wish I could get an updated one. We need to know just where they are.

Mosque in Columbia, Mo? That's where Mr. RR and I graduated from Mizzou in 1969. (Yes, I'm old) There were even a few, but very few, Muslims at that time. As with any university, lots of foreign students. Most of our neighbors in married student housing were from Israel and South America. An interesting and fun time for us.

Yes. That's what one poster told me. And it isn't on that map.

SheLion - I am just lurking but wanted to make a correction. I don't know who wrote this originally... "Oh, you forgot Memphis. With its Islamic Center in the eastern part of the city and the noticeable, gold-domed mosque smack-dab in Downtown near the Mississippi River and the Pyramid"

This is not an Islamic Center but the Danny Thomas / ALSAC Pavilion, located on the campus of St. Jude. To see photo and details see:

Not secret any more...sigh.

It was published in an online newspaper FWIW. Those rumors were also published a few months back - Iran is paranoid about their nuclear power and information leaks concerning it.

Sad story, he's just a child, on his way to being a terrorist.

More proof that these kids are going to need deprogrammers in order to cope with their everyday lives once their homeland returns to some semblance of normalcy.

That's a mind boggling list you posted JG! Wonder how many out-of-state plates are parked around these places and who the vehicles belong to!
