This is the wonderful reporting that I wish the MSM would use in Iraq. A wonderful, tear filled story of Iraq that has sorrow, the good things happening in Iraq, as well as some bad. It is about how the good in people come out in a very difficult, tragic situation.
This Freeper, in my opinion, has put MSM to shame with what that person has written.
God bless & Merry Christmas! :>)

What you have posted one does not hear/read in the MSM.
There is only bad things in the MSM. The terrorists are made to look to be good guys -- they are not terrorists in the MSM -- but insurgents or Freedom Fighters.
How you have written this is how journalism in Iraq should be written. Sadly, nothing I have seen comes even close to giving the truth, the sadness, and the goodness of people who come together in a difficult situation.
God bless & Merry Christmas!

Thank you for your personal account of what happened in the Mess hall in Mosul, and So very glad you survived and are going to be okay. I must say, in my safe home here, with the Christmas tree up, and family close by, it is hard to imagine what you witnessed. It must be true, there are no atheist in Foxholes. Crisis reveals the true Character of a person, and it sounds like you observed that there in Mosul. I am so sorry it had to happen to you, and to our other troops who suffered, and to those who witnessed it.
In Romans , chapter 8, by the Apostle Paul, Paul states:
"For the Scriptures tell us that for His sake we must be ready to face death at every moment of the day..but despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us. For I am convinced that nothing can ever seperate us from His Love..death can't and life can't. Our Fears today, our worries about tomorrow, or Where we are..high above the sky, or in the deepest Ocean..nothing will ever seperate us from the Love of God, demonstrated by our Lord Christ when he died for us."
You are blessed! Thank you for your Service to our Country, and to the message you sent us from the battle field. May God continue to watch over you.

God bless you and the brave men and women fighting for this great country in Iraq and the other parts of the world. I just thought that I you'd like to know that my children (4, 6 & 11) are being told what heroic work you are all doing and why. I had the opportunity to take them to New York, ground zero and showed them what can happen when you become complacent. As I hugged them tightly and slightly sobbed, I uttered two words that I wanted then to remember, those words were "Never Forget."
I told them if any teacher or other person spoke out against our brave troops, to take the lead and remind them that they are safe and secure in the greatest country in the world because of the efforts of soldiers like youself. Please keep your head low and your powder dry. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I had the privilege this morning at our weekly prayer breakfast to pray with and pray over a young warrior who at this time last year was stationed in a unit based out of Mosul, and ate his meals for 6 months in the chow hall.
Please know that this morning we asked God to incline his ear and lifted you, your fellow soldiers and families, up in prayer, and into The Most Capable Hands of all. On behalf of our prayer group, our sincere thanks, and wishes for safety.
God Bless You,

To all of you, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING ME TIME FROM YOUR BUSY DAYS.
Your posts give me a great deal of joy in a place where there is precious little.
Thank you Lori for directing me to this forum and for helping me with the adopt a soldier program.
And to vic heller; usually, when it comes to people like you I obey my Mark Twain rule. The one that says "Never argue with a fool, Onlookers may not know the difference" However since it is Christmas I will be generous.
In the immortal words of our beloved TF XO, "Drink more coffee, sniff less glue, alright"
Thank you all so much for your love and support
Love and Godbless

For some reason, this event has brought more tears to people's eyes than previous losses.
I don't know why, It just does.
This act is just as bad as any act of war against us as any before. By that I mean it was a sneak attack, it was done in total deception, an act of cowardice, not bravery.
These are not the works of warriors, it is the work of cowards.
Kill them all.
Come home.
And I am so sorry we didn't work hard enough to keep Clinton out of office as to let all this build up and happen the way it is.
And I am sorry that Jimmy Carter didn't send us in back in 1980 to Iran. The Muslim world would be thinking much different of us if he did, and you would not have to be there cleaning up that mess.
And when the dreams come, just remember that God knows who, why and what. He loves us and wants us to trust Him, and that is all you have to think about. God will take care of the rest.
