Yeah, sure. Let's have an amendment to allow foreign born to become President. Then we would be like Europe, BARF.

He's always been a liberal. Why should anyone be surprised?
When he announced he was running and he said "The children get first grabs on the Treasury" that was it for me as far as I'm concerned.

Arnold is dead wrong on this. The last several elections have shown that the U.S. mainstream parade is turning right. If he doesn't like it, he can go lead the gay pride parade in San Francisco.

California Gov. Would the jackwits who want to alter the Constitution to accommodate this RINO please step forward now?

"Seems we did just fine in November without "moving left":
Actually, GW was more than accomodating in his four years to the Left. Did not help GOP or GW at all.
They want - WHAT they want - and little 'turns the left' only rewards their patience. . .

A German publication? Somehow I think something may have been "lost in translation."

I've been hearing this nonsense for decades. GOP can gain votes by changing its positions. What sense does that make?? Sell our souls to win elections, and have no core convictions? Win just for the sake of winning. I would rather see the party go down to defeat on principle.

"When he announced he was running and he said "The children get first grabs on the Treasury" that was it for me as far as I'm concerned."
I heard that also. Former (Los Angeles) Mayor Dick Riorden, a Republican, said basically that he was going to re-shape the Republican Party once he became governor.
Unfortunately for him, he said it before the Primary, and saw his large lead vanish, before getting trounced.
Maybe Arnold's role models is the Illinois Republican Party, where the Chairman rides on the lead float, during Chicago's Gay Pride Parade.
Like Mr. Riorden, Arnold is about to get his head handed to him by mainstream Republicans. Celebrity-appeal will only get him so far - and not far enough.

And not that I would want to put much stock in a poll, but didn't I see one just the other day that showed the GOP with one of its largest advantages ever in party identification? Seems we must be doing something right.

Sorry Arnie, I don't want those voters. God, he's definitly proving a RINO, but that's Kaliphornication, what to expect?

The only reason Arnold got elected in the first place is that the Republican voters in California were deprived of the opportunity to vote in a primary election because of the machinations of Karl Rove and Gerald Parsky.
Frankly, if Arnold doesn't start doing a better job than he's done so far, it's not clear that he will be re-elected as governor next time around. A lot of people held their noses on the right-to-life issue in hopes that at least he would fix the budget. He has done neither. The stem cell research initiative is an abomination, and he has done nothing to cut spending.

Thanks for the advice, Arnold.
We move any further to the left, and Hillary's going to be running to our right.
By the way, did Maria give you this gem of wisdom?
