Thought all Canadian Freepers would like to know that Fox News is now on in Canada (Channel 197 on Rogers Digital Cable Tier). They are offering a free 90-day trial and you can then subscribe to it after that.

Congrats. When my cheap cable company finally picked up FOXnews, it was a revelation. After all those years of CNN, finally some unbiased news!

This is great news except there is no cable where I am...sniff, sniff.

Can I get it if I invest in a dish? Anyone know?

You'll have to contact your cable company and subscribe to the digital service, rent a digital receiver from them, and then subscribe to the channels of your choice. It'll probably end up costing about an extra $30.00/mo., maybe cheaper if you can bundle with internet and cell services. If you already have the receiver, etc., it'll probably only cost a few $ to order FNC.

Just noticed Fox News on in Toronto today (Rogers Cable). Tuned into Hannity & Colmes for the very first time and Hannity is missing. Looks like they got a substitute conservative for tonight.

Congrats! I know what you mean... I still remember the day - December 19, 2001 - that oasis finally reached our cable system here in Connecticut, USA.

Yeah!! It took many, many, many calls and letters to Comcast and finally I was able to get it!! Even with the criticism they get, they are the best around! I'd go ape without them!!

Shaw Cable now carries FOX news in larger Canadian centers. They tell me (via telephone) that demand is very high. They may offer it to smaller centers in February.
