Take liberty with God if you wish, but be careful with Mohammed
Just when I thought that I learned all I ever need to know about Islam on 9-11-2001.
So Mohammed is more sacred than the One True God?
Or is this just referring to his proclivity to separate heads from bodies
if it pleased him?

"Quite what "privilege" Islam currently enjoys in Britain over and above other faiths,
he does not say. "
He doesn't have to. It's covered quite well in the David Pryce-Jones article linked below:

Apes, thanks for the quotes from the Koran. I could have survived NEVER seeing that picture, but the darkness must be exposed by the light.
Good job.

I'm surprised you haven't yet made any snide comments about my not showing up to this thread, AFE.
Sigh. It's rather like Kabuki.
The religious bigotry exhibited on this thread is unbecoming of conservatives, who supposedly believe in assigning responsibility to individuals and not groups. It is wrongheaded and foolish to hold all one point whatever billion Muslims responsible for the acts of, at most, a few thousand. It is unAmerican to call for government to suppress a religion; if you succeed now with Islam, what will you do when President Hillary declares war on Christianity? Government has no role to play in matters of faith.
We now return to the regularly scheduled Islam-bashing.

But Christianity is open to criticism...
Could Islam withstand the same..? It is only fair...let's subject them both to the same scrutiny...do you have the courage...I suspect you are not Islamic...just anti-God...but you'll do...

Yeah yeah, Iqbal........sell it elsewhere. It ain't sellin' here, sport. Your "religion" is nothing more than a blood cult, and we all know it. Screw yourself.
To: weenie
I suspect you are not Islamic..You're correct here.
just anti-God...
You're wrong here.
but you'll do...
For what? Write an apologia for Islam? That's not something for which I am qualified... All I do is condemn religious bigotry, and point out that it's contrary to the virtue of holding individuals reponsible for their acts.

Good post.......great rant.........but relax.
Islam will never, ever, EVER threaten to take over America. We have hundreds of years of history as a bunch of independent, in-your-face, I-dare-you-to-f**k-with-me types to ever allow that.
No, Islam has met its match in America. We'd destroy them in a head-on fight, but of course.....the chickens**ts choose to fight like the cowards they are.
Which, of course, only serves to tick us off even more.
To: weenie
Help me out...I don't understand what you are saying...but wil l not disagree with what I don't know...I don't defend Islam; I defend the right of people to be Muslim if they so choose. It is wrong to call for our government to suppress people's free conscience merely because of terrorists callimg themselves Muslim. It is right to attempt to covert Muslims to Christianity, as everyone should be so converted, but that must be done individually.

Don't worry, Iqbal Sacranie, here comes Islamo_Geek to the rescue. So what if his sort brings about the death of more and more innocent Americans? It's all for a lame cause, and he feeeeels better about himself (something he sorely needs).
Every nation needs a cowardly appeaser to get his countrymen killed... NOT!

It's just his same tired old cowardly appeaser screed, lightly peppered with his usual anti-Christian bildge.

It's a common proverb in the Islamic world: "Women are for children and men are for pleasure."
(gag!)

LOL Appreciate your comments. But trust me, that was no rant. That was merely speaking the truth in love. Believe me, when I rant, you will KNOW it. LOL
And I'm actually very relaxed, thanks. I do think you may be underestimating the evil that surrounds us. Also, you might want to be careful about saying Islam could NEVER take over America. Arrogance is the first step towards defeat. Remember, the Titanic could NEVER sink, the Towers (never forget), could never come down...well those two events did happen after all, and one of them was by a group of Islamic followers.
When Christians are the one group being prosecuted as committing hate crimes (see thread City will prosecute Christian protesters) I start to feel a little uneasy.
When Christians can't talk about God or Jesus in public schools, but Muslims have special treatment and places set up to pray in those same schools, I get a little more concerned, and when the Boy Scouts are demonized and persecuted, and Under God is questioned in the pledge, and the 10 commandments are offensive, then I'm ready to RANT
Thanks.
I feel a lot better now.

I have read a lot of your stuff...I admire what you have written though I must admit I don't always follow...
My fear of Islam is only that it spreads by the sword, and, once inside, criticism is punishable by death, and leaving Islam is punishable by death...
Gee...that isn't Christianity or Judism...
I don't have a problem with any faith that is accepting of others...but a problem arises when one wishes to absorb the others by threat of violence.
what is the definition of a philosophy or way of life that says: we tolerate no criticism...no analysis...no examination of our belief...that is blasphemy and punishable by death...
With that manner of thinking...what is the defense against the perpetuation of an eternal lie. How can anyone stop a lie (Islam, for example), if examination is blasphemy and punishable by death. What kind of truth is it that cannot withstand the light of day...
