ONEROUS RECOUNT IN OHIO (SLAPS JESSIE JACKSON!)
Washington Dispatch ^ | 12/14/04 | Paul Weyrich

Posted on 12/14/2004 7:53:32 AM PST by areafiftyone

There once was a time when the Rev. Jesse Jackson intervened in instances of genuine injustice.  At that time there was racial discrimination on a variety of fronts.  I have never been a fan but I have to concede that he once did some good.  That was then and this is now.  Today Jackson seems to be continually in search of a cause, and seldom finds one that requires his presence.

Jackson is in Ohio, where liberals have raised enough money to fund a recount in the Presidential race.  It was Ohio which put President Bush over the top in the Electoral College.  That the President carried the State by approximately 117,000 votes is something that the far left cannot accept.  Therefore, they are now inventing all sorts of problems which supposedly occurred during the 2004 elections.

It doesn’t hinder Jackson and his compatriots that the Secretary of State of Ohio is a Black man, Ken Blackwell.  Do they actually think that Blackwell wants to suppress the Black vote?  Then again Blackwell is a Republican, and from the far-left vantage point all Republicans want to prevent Blacks from voting.

Today Jackson seems to be continually in search of a buck!

The author invites comments at the end of this article. DUers are livid over this and will be sending nasty little comments to this columnist who is not afraid to speak the truth.

Yeah?

Give us one, just one, instance where that poverty-pimping, race-baiting, flaming racist bigot ever did anything that wasn't intended to benefit himself first and foremost.

Anything good that came out of his activities was simply an unintended consequence, as far as that posing fake was concerned.

To hell with him.

Good article, more or less. the one thing it misses is that it's Democraps who are in the forefront, leading the recount madness in OH. As for the WA Gov. recount ... I'm sorry, but I don't believe that truly invalid ballots (ballots that show no sign of who the voter wanted for President) should be counted, no matter WHICH direction they would go. So ... Republicans would NOT be equally guilty. The Democraps are treasonous monsters.

I bet if the State of Ohio made a contribution to the Rainbow Coalition, Jesse Jackson would go away.

That's Jesse's M.O. in dealing with major corporations. Scream that company X discriminates against minorities and must be boycotted until company X forks over some money to Jesse's organization.

Some people would call such shenanigans a shakedown.

I still believe that Jesse may have had something to do with MLKs murder. I've never thought he had done anyone but himself a service.

American Blacks may not realize it, but folks like Jesse Jackson, John Conyers, Maxine Waters, Julian Bond are sinking Blacks lower then they ever were before. They can't go to much lower, they have already lost any political power they had. Their so called "leaders" have no political power with anyone that counts.

Newest thing the DUmmies are doing is putting their vote fraud message on money. You may be getting dollar bills and/or 20 dollar bills with "a voter fraud message on it".

To him there is nothing that he won't get involved in, be it truth or a lie, as long as they are will to meet his price.

Morally bankrupt.

Secretary of State Ken Blackwell was on a local radio station this morning. He thinks Jesse is a joke. Said something to the effect that Jesse needs to pack up and go pick up a check somewhere else. LOL!
