Coming next will be the spontaneous reanimation of the distal portion of the third and fourth digits of either hand, thus enabling the users to gesture and point in a polite, conventional manner.

***as classic looks regained popularity***
I was hoping that penny loafers and khakis would be back when my kids hit their teen years.
Looks like it's right on time.

Ghetto chic may never go out of style in the outer boroughs of NYC, but it looks as though the rest of the nation is getting some fashion sense for a change.

I am glad the urban gutter look/prison chic is going away.
I am grateful for the cable show "What Not To Wear." Stacy and Clinton are hip and young and a bit on the smart mouth side, but they are making it trendy to look clean cut and stylish.

The saddest part of my recent trip to London was the same Eminem/baggy/gangsta style of the youth. And the graffiti, which is now worse than New York's, if you can believe it.

My cousin's son was dressed to in his hip-hop clothes to go out on a date the other night.
My cousin said, "Son, you look like a hobo."
I hadn't thought of it quite like that.

MARIAH TO LAUNCH UNDERWEAR LINE
Curvaceous pop star Mariah Carey is set to do battle with chart rival Jennifer Lopez in the fashion world -- she's launching a lingerie range. The singer has been busy designing her Mariah Kiss Kiss underwear collection, which will hit stores in 2005.
A friend of Carey enthuses, "Mariah will market the sexy undies after her next album release in June and she can't wait.
"They will be designed for women of all shapes and sizes."
Lopez released her intimates range earlier this year, two years after launching her J.Lo By Jennifer Lopez clothing collection.

There hasn't been a decent rap act since The mid-90's, when the once-legendary Bestie Boys went p___y P.C. and Cypress Hill put out their last great "joint" (Black Sunday).
The genre is dead. Eminem may have tried to resuscitate the patient, but with the sour, sub-Public Enemy idiocy of "Mosh" replacing the fiery murder-balladier of "Kim" and "Way I Am", even that promise seems finished.
Tip your Derby to DMC and turn out the lights, boyz.
The party is over.
