According to freelance journalist Wayne Madsen, George W Bush's bloodlust, his repeated commitment to Christian belief, and his constant references to "evil doers" in the eyes of many devout Catholic leaders bear all the hallmarks of the one warned about in the Book of Revelations--the anti-Christ.

1 John 2
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

The antichrist and other antichrists were already around when John wrote his epistle.

This was a hilarious article. I particularly found this part amusing:

Before he became pope, Karol Cardinal Wojtyla said, "We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has gone through. I do not think that wide circles of the American society or wide circles of the Christian community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel."

How laughable can one get? The pope was obviously talking about the Soviet Union. For the author to turn this into a sort of prophecy is beyond disingenuous.

What a joke...I don't agree with all that Bush does...but honestly believe his faith is devout and that he is pursuing evil in the terrorists and those who support them and taking the fight to them.

The anti-Christ will be just that "ANTI - CHRIST"...and IMHO he will be loved and adored by most of the world...and he will persecute and destroy Christians. He will not practise as a devout Christian, but will use his Luciferian powers to fool and delude many with false miracles where he boasts of he himself as being God. NONE of that fits our President in the least and it sticks in my craw and fouls my stomach to even have to resapond to such unfounded accusations (Well, I guess I didn't have to respond...but I just couldn't let it stand).

This journalist himself is deluded...as if though in his mind, Bill Clinton was probably something good . (WHo, BTW, if he does become the Secretary General of the UN as has been rumored, would much more closely fit the mold IMHO).

Talk about turning things upside down and calling good eveil and eveil good...which by the way, is another sign of the end times.

"Highlight the delusional thought processes of the left and their ridiculous flag bearer Wayne Madsen"

I believe there is plenty of real current news to post if you want to 'highlight the ridiculous left' and not ancient nonsense that was written in may of 2003.

smells like zot...

Isn't Madsen the guy claiming Bush stole the election using stolen money from the Philipines during WWII and money from the Saudis and Enron, and with help from Russian and CIA computer hackers (which Bush and Rove then failed to pay)? Seriously, the guy's a loon...
