Nutty Professor at UL Wants to Shoot Christians with AK47 ("Mario" - Guerilla Reporter)
PATRIOT VOCALS.COM ^ | DECEMBER 6, 2004 | JEFF "MARIO" SMITH

According to Brian Yates of the Louisville Patriot, one of the many marxist professors at the University of Louisville, in Kentucky, is suffering from the newly discovered affliction called "post election selection syndrome". On the Thursday following the presidential election of 2004, he told his class, "It was the religious zealots who say they are voting on morals. I think we should all buy AK47’s and shoot them all! That’s what I would suggest, if it were allowed."

He has to go buy a gun? That's a shame. I guess, as long as the coming Revolution waits a few days for marxist professors to go out and buy guns from dealers whom they worked fervently to shut down for decades, the marxists and other loser liberals might at least have a shooting chance for a couple of days. That is if they don't shoot their feet off. Of course, they would have to aim at their mouths to hit their feet, since the academia inspired habit of "opening mouth and inserting boot" is so common these days.

Actually, I appreciate McTighe's challenge and I would love the action to start. It would be bloody, but just as in the first American Revolution, the Patriots would come out on top and liberals would be an endangered species. After all, most of them don't believe in gun ownership, couldn't grow a potatoes if their life depended on it, and wouldn't know what to do with out their latte and liberal newspapers.

Brian Yates says he would expect this type of brash leftism at say, UC Berkley, but not at U of L. Well, it was in the early 80's when I was using the GI Bill to go to college at the University of Kentucky, and I took political science from a professor whose entire semester of instruction centered around his teaching that the United States is the cause of all the world's woes. This country has been falling down the slippery slope of leftism for decades, so I am not surprised by the marxism displayed by Professor John McTighe at U of L [ (502) 852-6836 john.mctighe@louisville.edu - or - johnmctighe@louisville.edu ** His email listing is the only one on the sociology department's home page that is not there, hmm!! www.louisville.edu/a-s/soc/ptl.htm. It only stands to reason that campus marxism is worse now than in the early 80's when I was at U of K.

According to Yates, "McTighe told university officials that he said people should buy a weapon to protect themselves from those in the gun ownership movement. (Note: it’s not a movement; it’s a constitutionally-protected right.)" Was he telling them this to cover from what he actually said or was this in addition to the AK47 remark? These guys are so lost it isn't funny. It isn't funny because these buffoons are teaching future generations of voting Americans. Think about it. This guy is afraid of law abiding gun owners, is too stupid to own a gun himself thereby setting himself to be a victim, and thinks gun ownership is a "movement". He thinks it is a "movement" because that is how travelers think. This guy is a commie pinko and everything he is involved in is a "movement", a movement towards godless marxism.

As Yates points out in his article, liberals are afraid of God because God's Word puts them in the position whereby they have to beg forgiveness for what they do every day. They must shun God in order to feel good about how they live their lives and the naive, perverted, and subversive things they believe. God and the Holy Bible makes them feel uncomfortable and the outcome of the election truly strikes at the very core of their fear. They just might have to live in a society where the rule of law, based upon the Ten Commandments is in vogue, and godless liberalism is shunned. I guess we should feel sorry for them, which may be easy for us to do, since Christians who see what has been happening to this One Nation Under God have been living in fear for America and praying extra hard for a long time. I guess we should tell them "We feel their fear." Heh heh heh.

Terrorists off-limits but Christians fair game

by Brian Yates

December 01, 2004

The faculty at UC Berkeley has a set of guidelines designed to keep professors from pushing their personal agendas on students. These guidelines were established to keep the campus from becoming a sanctuary for communist professors. Teaching should “stick to the logic of the facts.” This policy was largely forgotten until recently when a course catalogue for a “Politics and Poetics of Palestinian Resistance” class warned that “conservative thinkers are encouraged to seek other sections.”

This type of agenda is to be expected at Berkeley; I doubt too many of you are surprised. It’s somewhat less expected; however, here at U of L.

While “Social Stratification” sounds somewhat less threatening than the Arafat love-fest mentioned above, and its course description neglects to warn students of any political persuasion to “enter at their own risk,” the lack of tolerance for conservative opinion is no less prevalent.

The Thursday following President Bush’s resounding reelection, K.C. Martin walked into a class discussion of the election among the students and her professor, Dr. John McTighe. With much of the class upset over the outcome, one student asked how we managed to reelect “such an idiot” president.

Many exit polls suggested that voters considering morals made up a significant part of President Bush’s voting block. Dr. McTighe took this one step further when he said, “It was the religious zealots who say they are voting on morals. I think we should all buy AK47’s and shoot them all! That’s what I would suggest, if it were allowed.”

McTighe saw no problem with making this type of statement in class because apparently he felt among friends. According to Martin, “on several occasions the teacher [McTighe] said we were all liberals, so he probably assumed it was okay to bash Republicans.”

Understandably, Martin was upset: “I was offended that he would say such a thing…he has no idea what I believe. I don’t think that gives him the right to assume every student is a liberal and he can say whatever he wants.”

McTighe contends that he qualified his outrageous comments by saying “Yes, I’m being sarcastic,” and that while he does believe “religious zealots” were partly responsible for the president’s reelection, his reference to guns came while discussing the “implications of a widely perceived connection between fervent religious beliefs and support for gun ownership.” Not to get off the subject here, but maybe this “widely perceived connection” could be more that people who support the First Amendment also just happen to support the Second Amendment as well. You know, all those nuts who actually believe in upholding the Constitution.

McTighe told university officials that he said people should buy a weapon to protect themselves from those in the gun ownership movement. (Note: it’s not a movement; it’s a constitutionally-protected right.) He may as well have claimed that he was suffering from “post-election selection trauma” and knew not what he was telling his class.

The scorn for all of us professing to believe in God is clear in McTighe’s obscene remarks to his sociology class. The reason for this is simple: liberals feel threatened by God. Op-ed pages across the country were echoing with shouts that voters making decisions based on their morals is bad for America. It’s not bad for America; it’s bad for liberals.

Let’s put this in perspective here: liberals have spent the past three years whining about the need to protect the rights of terrorists. Remember the uproar over classifying detainees at Guantanamo Bay as enemy combatants? We were told that we should have more concern for the rights of terrorists. What about giving Saddam the death penalty? Oh, how inhumane! Liberals won’t allow us to shoot terrorists and murdering dictators, but if you believe in God, not only should you be shot, but they want to use an assault weapon.

Many of you are probably incensed at McTighe’s words right now; however, I’m prepared to let him off the hook. He’s understandably upset following a difficult election. He is in luck though; the American Health Association is offering free counseling for those afflicted with Post-Election Selection Trauma. He seems to be in dire need.

Mario's email comments:

Now, with the double standards we live under in our society, imagine if this guy said that about liberals!!! He would already have had the black booted thugs raiding his home and there would be protests all over the campus. This guy should get his wish, and he might be surprised when he fails to get off the first shot! Right next to the definition of "professor" in the dictionary, there should be some picture of a nut in a straight jacket! The insane statements from a lot of these fools never ceases to amaze me. "Turn on, tune in, drop out" now means to go to college and be indoctrinated!

At the risk of sounding cliché, "BRING IT ON" Professor John McTighe, Sociology Department, University of Louisville Kentucky! BRING IT ON! Let the games begin!

According to all good lefties, guns should be outlawed. Why does this professor think he can go out an buy one. Right-wing Christians also may shoot back. After all, who do you think has been fighting all along to keep guns legal?

Why do Universities keep on hiring total NUTJOBS? I think there needs to be a mass protest over the bias at universities. It's a breeding ground for hatred.

He's probably up for tenure and had to say something to impress the committee.

My arch-liberal sister made the same post-election comment about getting a gun and wreaking some havoc. Given that she, unlike me, never learned to handle any sort of weapon, I told her, "I cannot imagine any safer place in the world than directly in front of you with you aiming a rifle." That got a laugh from some other family members and a bit of a smile from her. Sis may be left-of-center, but she's also got a good sense of humor (unlike some of those Luhvull profs, it seems.)

Can you imagine the outrage from the left if some conservative announced that he wished he could mow down liberals with his guns? They would be howling that conservatives are crazy, evil, Nazis, etc.
The hypocrisy is sickening.

I don't know...I'd be kind of curious to see how this guy and his "AK47" perform when they swing by to execute his plan on me and my match M1.

A look at the comparitive performance of firearms technology coupled with an examination of human behavior under stress. Kind of a science experiment, you understand...

Hey prof, I'll bet you a rubber dolly that conservatives are a LOT farther along on the learning curve when it comes to firearms than you are. So bring it on, my lefty friend - I'm all for removing bag limits on liberals.

This is really a bad rap at Liberals, who seem perfectly comfortable having been hijacked by the perverts. Having capitulated, they now have no way of knowing if they are the intended targets of criticism or are the hijackers. Perhaps they don't care?

Bottom line: which sounds less puerile and self serving? Liberals agains God?... or Perverts against God?

Of course, this guy. "DR." John McTighe, in the U of L Sociology Department, is sooooo uninformed, he thinks anyone can go out and buy an AK47. What an idiot! I guess this buffoon believes everything the liberal media put out there for sheeple like him to soak up. He probably thinks anyone can buy an AK47 at the "gun shows" his liberal pals are trying to shut down because of an alleged "loophole" that does not exist. One would have to have a special firearms license to own or purchase a fully automatic rifle like that, and it would cost in the thousands. It would also mean the BATF and other alphabet soup LE's would be watching you like a hawk. Someone SHOULD be watching this guy like a hawk. I think it is time for the proverbial big men in white uniforms to provide a straight jacket for this jerk!

I go to gun shows, own several firearms, window shop gun stores, and have many friends who shoot, and am a veteran of the armed forces. I have only seen one AK47 in my entire life, and it was owned by someone with a federal firearms license allowing him to own it.

What is U of L? Uniformed on Life? University of Leftism? Someone needs to contact the U of L Alumni Association and tell them they need to pressure U of L to get rid of this idiot. Cut off the dollars and even the liberals will listen!

The bottom line is this guy will get away with this threat because it is aimed at Christians, and we are now the politically correct group to attack. If he said it about Jews, Muslims, Hiindus, Buddhists, liberals, communists, Negroes, Indians, Japanese, Germans, Canadians, or whomever, there would be huge outrage and he would be fired. That won't happen here because he was threatening Christians. That is the bottom line. Mark my word. The liberal double standard will apply here and this guy will be a tenured socialist making a good living with a good retirement forever. You and I will be paying for it of course. What a great guy to be molding young impressionable minds!!!! This is EXACTLY the reason I have ZERO respect for an academic with the "Dr." before his name or the "PhD" after his name. The CPUSA must be proud.
