REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Scott Peterson's relatives, friends and neighbors yesterday made the convicted wife-slayer out to be the Dalai Lama of San Diego.Longtime friend Aaron Fritz recalled how Peterson participated in a high-school program in which students visited nursing homes and senior centers, and traveled to Mexico to read to orphans.

"He's always been a very strong and stable person that I've always looked to as a role model. Sometimes I think about what Scott would do in a certain situation," said Fritz. "He's had a positive impact on everybody he meets."

Prosecutors held back from asking Fritz whether Peterson, 32, had a positive impact on his pregnant wife, Laci, whom he killed and dumped in the San Francisco Bay on Christmas Eve 2002.
Defense attorneys asked few questions about how Scott Peterson treated people in the months before his arrest. Instead they focused on his life as a child, teen and young adult.
Scott Peterson wept occasionally as his sister-in-law cried throughout her testimony and pleaded for Scott's life. ,p>Jurors, who wept out loud Tuesday during the testimony of Laci's mother Sharon Rocha, seemed dry-eyed and bored by the defense testimony. The judge pulled a tissue from a box, but only used it to clean his desk.

i doubt he did it and pretty certain it will be overturned on appeal unles politics get into it. There is no problem with dismissing jurors when they have stepped over the line but there is a problem when you dismiss one who is taking notes and covering all the facts to base his disicion on. That will clinch it basicly unless Gerigos is a complete moron.
Oh come on, just because he beheaded and dismembered his wife and sank her pregnant body in the San Francisco Bay, that doesn't mean he didn't love her and her unborn child. Have pitty on him, he lost his wife and kid.

Are you privvy to exactly why the juror was let go? This judge has been around a long time & I'm sure he wouldn't do anything to cause an appeal from his rulings. He's no dummy & seems to have bent over backwards to the defense. Geragos would be screaming from the rooftops if the judge had made such an error!

Convict the guy, sentence him to die and execute him.

Blondie, it is such an evil act, my threshold for hate doesn't even stand as thinking in the way to kill him for what he did, a deficit in my character, but can you imagine, throughout this whole thing, we haven't heard one thing from him, I mean , how could this have happened, adn what about the girl they say was murdered before as he knew her in college but that they couldn't find the killer?I am only hoping in jail he will ask God for forgiveness and help and admit to God that he did it, I know that sounds kind of sick too , but ??????????
I hope he gets off when they overturn it. Just watch and see it'll be overturned. Look the guy was too busy cheating to have any time for the murder. He had two or three mistresses amber was the only one who came forward. He was too busy going from one to another and lying to everyone. Convicting a person based on perception is not a good thing. Facts should be used period.
When they do let Peterson off, You and Scott should hop a
jet to Miami, join OJ on the golf course and the three of
you can start searching for the real killers!
Considering how long people sit on death row I am sure he would have that opportunity during the next 15 years or so.
well everyone has an opinion. Look I know OJ did it there was physical evidence for it. In scotts case there was innuendo and the physical evidence didnt exist.
