If we're talking about heckling, then perhaps the Aussies should apologize for heckling Bush.

You know, when Bush went to Canbarra and addressed the joint session of the Australian Parliament (Senate and House of Representatives) last year, the only heckling I saw came from the Green Senator Bob Brown. And mainstream Australia regards him as loony Left. And in this year's general election, the Greens was thrahed - they now only have 4 seats in the Senate (and none in the House of Rep). Who says Aussies were heckling W.?

Canada? I can guarantee in the House of Commons alone, at least 1/4 of all MPs are Bob Browns and vocal about this, and 1/3 would silently agree with that 1/4.

Ping to Australian FRers!

You're spot on.

After Bush's speech, there was a near riot on the floor of the Chamber as Members jostled to give the terminally moronic Brown a good belt behind the ear.

thanks for the ping. I recall that episode as if it were yesterday. The creep made me cringe. Do I recall correctly, he was forced to leave the chamber, wasn't he?
