<< Perhaps I missed it, but I don't see J.J. of Good Times (his dad was fabulous as well)... >>
Don't you mean "dyn-o-mite"?
(I say this as a *non*-fan.)
Dan

How about,
Cisco Kid
Burns and Allen(!)
Zorro
FBI
Beulah (starring a black woman)
Hazel(hated it but it was around)
Ozzie and Harriet(responsible for the nuclear family myth)
Amos and Andy...
I missed that...better go look again. That was a GREAT show. It's STILL funny!
Thanks, I didn't know that one either...
How can you have Rob and Laura on the list, and not mention Buddy, Sally, and Mel? That's another show that should be there as the entire cast!
One of my favorites, although...
Q: What must I do to prove to you that I'm mortal? Worf: DIE!
That's pretty good, too!
Zinja
...he wandered alone...
Gleason was great, I also loved him in "The Hustler", he was a good pool player and did his own shots in that movie while Willie Mosconi did most of Paul Newmans shots.
Love these trips down memory lane. More shows just keep poppin' into the noggin.
The Stu Erwin Show
The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis
(Maynard G Krebs was my favorite)
I Remeber Momma
(Only 1 TV and that was Mom's favorite.)
The Golden Girls - at least Dorothy or Rose - should be there, too, imo.

Dobie Gillis (find the book if you can, good stuff)...Thalia Menninger (nobody ever looked as good on TV as Tuesday Weld)....Herbert T. Gillis (WW2, the big one, With the Good Conduct Medal!)....Chatsworth Osborne Jr. (and Mumsy)...Zelda Gilroy (now a lesbian Congressman/woman)..."now cut that out!"....Mister Pomfrit (later to be Patty Duke's dad)...and of course the only one to make the list....Maynard G. Krebbs (Work!)
And of course some newer ones:
My all time favorite, Columbo!
They just keep commin'
Sgt. Preston of the Yukon and His Wonder Dog, King
My Friend Flikka
Rin-Tin-Tin...(ARF)
Thanks for the correction- never watched "The Fugutive" - before my time. Now that I think about it, I guess Eb the hired hand would probably have placed better than Mr. Kimball the county agent anyway?
Had a BIG TIME crush on Zelda as a kid.
And the whole Warner Brothers catalogue of Detective shows...
77 Sunset Strip
Surfside Six
going blank on the others...
How about Paladin, Have Gun Will Travel with Richard Boone, I loved that show when I was a kid.
