As I wrote above, this list was put together by a committee of metrosexual Gen Xers with no historical perspective or curiosity.
The correct answer is: "Who says I'm dumb?" asked two minutes later.
It's a very, very funny show. I used to wonder if you had to be of Jewish extraction to find it so, but I know too many non-Jews who laugh at every episode too. Try watching a few of the reruns on each night.
Actually, religiously, the show is truly anti-semitic. The rabbi is a stupid gossip. Jerry and his girlfriend make out throughout the entire Schindler's List movie. Jerry dismisses his religion at every chance he gets.
But it makes HILARIOUS fun of cultural Jews and is really a riot. Most of the characters that "aren't Jewish" really are, obviously by their behavior, like the Costanzas and Elaine.
They are all so selfish and their motivations sometimes jibe and sometimes collide, and the situations are genius.
Per Red Forman of that 70's show ..."Look at that, Gilligan SCREWED up again and broke the Professor's coconut radio...why don't they just kill him...
Louis DePalma and Maxwell Smart are both on the list, although much lower than they should be.
LOL! I thought I was the only one who watched that show. I was living in Maine and the Bangor NBC affiliate wouldn't show the Swedish exchange student episode. I was pissed!
Don't forget Eddie Haskell.
Little Rascals, (maybe a movie clip genre instead)
Lassie, Mr Ed, Flinstones, Superman
and of course Prisoner9
Maxwell Smart is #86 (cute, eh!) and Louis (Louie) is #24.
Jim Rockford
Dr. Kildare???
LOL, love the typo.
Didn't Kramer once buy like a thousands pounds of something to get a bargin? Probably at Costco...
I believe his actual first name is K-Mart.
Seriously. It was the number 1 rated show for what? 3 or 4 seasons and consistently in the top 5.
Johnny Uma
Couldn't remember Louie's last name, but I sure remember the character!
Yuma, Johnny Yuma....he was a rebel you know...
"Who was #1? I can't remember if they ever told us."
Nor do I.
I did google a bit and found this forum for "The Prisoner".
On Page 3, there are some speculations on that topic.
Sounds like it the sort of question that goes with "what's in the briefcase"
in "Pulp Fiction"

I also noted some negative posts about "Six Of One", a "Prisoner" fan group...
