All they have to do is prove it.
America has done it many many times; including liberating France not too long ago.
But I can understand how difficult it is to prove when the entire force keeps surrendering all the time.

A frenchy killed by friendly fire is one thing.
The french murdering unarmed civilians in the Ivory Coast is something else entirely.

As an example American Special Forces do Jungle warfare training with the French Foren legon
I never heard anything about American SF doing jungle warfare training with the FFL. BTW, I noticed you joined FR on 11/26/04.
