She wasn't noisy..
If she heard sounds..
She'd trot around and "huff"...
(hope that describes it)
Only a knock on the door, or a direct confrontation, would make her bark...
Our bob tailed cat had kittens...
I came home from work, Mother cat crying and upset..no kittens in her birthing box...
Tasha had them in her bed..all soaking wet from her washing them..all safe and sound..
I took them from Tasha, and gave them back to their Mother..Tasha cried and carried on so much..
I bought her some stuffed toys, then, she was happy...
This is the same dog, that protected me from an intruder, that tried to get into my home!!
Go figure!

Tzurrogate mother: A Shih Tzu named Geisha Girl nurses kittens Dilly and Dallas, who were abandoned by their mother in Edwardsburg, Mich.
You've got to think like a dog every now and then, Ms.B:
Tasha saw little furry things in black & white and thought "PUPPIES!"
Maternal instincts took over from there.
I'm surprised that Mother Cat didn't go to war later on.
The stuffed animals for Tasha was a very clever idea. Making everybody happy.
Jack.
